Everything will swap over with a welder, some scrap metal and a best guess eyeball it and go with it attitude. You can do it. I've got faith in you.

So after working last night and finally having a day off without rain...I have decided to put it to good use.

I'm currently sitting in the back of my runner installing my new speakers which are a shit ton bigger than I thought they would be. But they look badass so I'm continuing. Once they're in and wired up, I shall diagnose what keeps blowing the fuses on the new head unit.

I need to get brackets built for the skid, do ubjs hopefully today, fix the door handle and CB radio, put my new headlights in and piece my grille back together, get a new windshield, build my rear bumper, and possibly Bob the bed first. I got 4 weeks lol

EDIT: Also remembered I need to straighten out my radiator from the wreck because the cowl is touching the AC Condenser, then replace my AC Idler Pulley... oh boy

Update: I have both speakers mounted, one side wired up, the other, it's getting there.

    What I've learned today:

    1. Switch was the issue. Changed out from a cool led light'em up switch to a standard metal toggle switch. Works like a charm.

    2. 30% chance of rain today. Had a wicked storm roll through, soaked everything. Marine grade/water proof stuff worked though.

    3. The removable top on a 1st gen runner will kick your ass if you remove it alone. Weighs a lot more than it looks and it's awkward as hell, and once it's off the dowels, you're committed. 4 out of 5 stars, would not do again. Also, when you do get it off, you won't get it back on solo without some kind of lift or stand.

You will sell your snowblower there as it is not needed. We get a dusting to 6-7 inches is all for the past 10 years.

I replaced my whole lower control arm with moog and have not had any issues. It solved a noise I was having as the eccentric bolts were frozen in place. If you take them off a alignment will be needed if not it’s just a ball joint replacement. Soak it down with penatrating oil a couple times days before. Press off and press on straight forward.

Other ancillary parts will swap over as well; lights, tools, compressor, winch, cb, etc.

@Dave41079 any regrets on your trade? What dealer did you go to?

See, that's what happens when I respond to something when I first wake up after 4 nights in a row.

Ron Hibbard Toyota in Gallatin is the best.
