We stayed at Evarts Campground once. OK, but rest rooms and showers weren't very good. I was OK, Sandy didn't care for it.

Lot's of activity at night. (Vehicles driving around in camp ground.) I like my quiet when it's sleepy time!

I prefer camping on the mountain. Somewhere I can’t see anyone else...

And it’s free. Yes I’m cheap.

 

Once you get past the campgrounds it gets rough. The metal irrigation pipe is completely above ground one side pretty much. The guy at Evarts said they'll be grading it and putting fresh gravel down sometime soon. The rain has just washed a lot of it away. The switchbacks and stuff is a beast to right now.

 

I have a wife who prefers cabin....

 

It helps being in our 20’s but my wife will camp about anywhere with me as long as she can get a shower at some point.

She has also told me to go alone... believe it or not, it’s because she can see how it helps my mental well being. She likes me better after I’ve been out in the woods for a few days

 

My wife likes me better WHILE I'm away by myself. Thinking that's not the same thing....

 

Seeing what you did to the truck, she should expect that you mod the runner.... it's a given.

 

How about i bring you a skid plate and while I'm there, we bolt one of your km2s onto my 4R to see how bad it scrubs?

 

I have 16's..... not sure that they'll clear the brakes, but we can try.

 

@Jibbs needs plates, hes a 3rd Jenner tho so....not sure if tab A. fits slot B.

16s will fit in the back no problem. They might fit up front for testing purposes, or you can grind the caliper a hair and they'll fit. 285s should only rub in the front. You can either use a heat gun to re-mold the wheel liner in the front, or just unbolt and move it forward to alleviate rubbing.

My advice, get the tires because I told you they'd fit. Let them rub, and then you have to get a lift to fix it.

 

Your trail wheels are 17x7.5 with 4.5 backspace?
My wheels are 17x8.5 with 4.3 backspace.
