    255 75/17 are about a 1/2” taller than 265 70/17.

    STT Pro weight comparison:

    255 - 51lbs
    285 - 62lbs

    285’s will give you about an inch, but will weigh more, potentially require trimming fender liner, cmc, and new UCA (unless you add wheel spacers).

    Unless you start chopping, trimming and replacing UCA that’s what you’re looking at sub 1” gain in height.

    I don't know about Josh's wheels but it was definitely Everetts wheels, not tires. A lot of cheap cast wheels have a smooth rounded outer lip to them that isn't great for holding beads at low psi and side loads. Now the tires could've helped but any tire was gonna be debeaded from his wheels. Same with Tim's. Those wheels are built with aesthetics in mind, not "hardcore" offroading. That's why a lot of people who run non beadlock steel wheels have no problem running single digit psi without problems. Most steel wheels are built with that in mind.

    That’ll depend on each individual’s wheel/Tire combo and the terrain. Guys on bead locks will be in the single digits. 12 is my go-to.
