Where is anyone taking any of these "offroad" trailers? It's the east coast man lol, nobody is "off grid" for days, much less wheeling enough to justify pulling a trailer the whole time

One of my friends is thinking about building one to use as a base camp/extra room for his FZJ80 and I can totally get that. A wagon gets tight and heavy in a hurry once you start to throw some family and a spare 40 in.

I have bounced mine around lbl forest service roads before. I took it out to Colorado and did some trails there with it while we changed camping locations. We went to Maine over the summer and hit a couple national parks that had gravel roads. I use mine more of a base camp than anything but it doubles as a family camper.

Might have to redo my truck, touching it up in large areas has turned into a disaster. First tried preval, looks way too flat, then clear which had horrible overspray... then tried to blend the overspray with paint thinner... all made it worse, this all because I tried to clean off my hood with fucking simple green. God dammit.

I don't want to spend $70 for a gallon of it to touch up. And a spray gun. Because their aerosols cans don't match worth a shit. But I might have to do it unless I want to drive around looking like a rattle can redneck.

New "low voc" paints either match perfectly, or, start from scratch. Looks like you get "scratch" . Think wrap.

I may try to buy one gallon first, use preval can with less thinner this time, then go from there. If matching still looks like shit...I'll have to respray the whole thing. There's my winter project.

I have heard wraps are easy to tear tho. Haven't had that experience wheeling with dip. Also I know how to dip my truck... not going to try to wrap it myself. And it cost like $2k to get someone to do it for you. And since I'm so OCD I'll be annoyed with little stuff that I'm sure they'll do wrong.
