Yea, I might just get plate to cut and weld one up. I haven’t looked too deep into it because of working on the trailer too. That came to a standstill for a while. Gotta get back to working on it now lol

That was totally freak. I don’t know why they broke where they broke.

 

His broke on a relatively moderate trail and wheels were pointed straight. It was pretty freak. The only thing I can imagine is they were just stressed from previous wheeling trips.

 

Yeah, if it had a trout license plate then ya. I work at the industrial park over there.

 

I work on centennial and have never seen your runner out there before. I was on the phone with my girlfriend when i saw you drive by and our conversation was;

Me: Motherfucker...
Gf: what’s wrong?
Me: I’ve never once seen another 4runner out by work, much less a lifted one. Lifted the truck Saturday and a lifted 4runner just rolled by on nicer suspension..... wait, I think I know him.
Gf: how the fuck do you know everyone with a lifted Toyota?


Runner looks sweet though. Pretty jealous of the Resi’s. But yours looks a little higher in the front, what lift do you have?

 

I’ve seen one other one at Parman energy yet no where else.

I’m on Icon 2.5 with resi paired with Camburg UCAs. Rear is 2.0 icon on a 3inch T12 coils. Yeah, I’m sitting just a tad higher in the front. I need to lift it back up and crank down the coilovers just a hair. Been too lazy to do it though.

Measure 24.5 in the front at 24.35 in the rear from hubs other day. The guy before me had the front Coilovers crank down so I had to return them back to almost standard preload.

 

I feel like I see lifted T4R's every day down in the Franklin area.

 

Oh okay. Im gonna have to measure mine one day soon, its pretty raked. Not sure if the icon spring in the rear is going to settle or if I just need to crank the front up a little. I just left the front at whatever setting it was at in the box from SDHQ.

 

Down there too a lot. I’ve seen a couple decked out ones though with full bumpers and trail gear all gens.

 

I’d run a couple washed out roads to get them to settle I was measuring close to 25 on the front and 24.5 on the rear. Finally settled after I went too LBL and max patch for a day trip

It’s been close to 2700 miles since install though.

 

That was my experience with cheap auto store CVS. I had one break just going through a mud puddle in my creak. No one should ever use them if they plan on wheeling haha

 

That's exactly what my driverside was. Never again lol

But I did just order two used OEM CVs for $134 off eBay though. Pretty stoked about that

I have. That's how bad Cool Springs Toyota is.

 

I've gone to CS auto and they've been good. Only for major stuff though, it'll be a while before I go back. Had timing belt replaced, valve cover gaskets/valves shimmed and fuel pump replaced.
