Pretty easy to install, especially if you already have the holes drilled.

Yep holes already drilled. Just ordered some rivet nuts for $5 for a pack of 10 which will be more than enough. That should be all I need to accomplish the task of making the carrier easy to remove

I like the rivnut that come with the kit I linked before from bedslide. I think they’re 1/2”. They definitely have more surface area under the bed.

The deed is done and it was dirty! Thanks again @allmotorrex :bowdown::bowdown::bowdown::bowdown:
Gears and locker will definitely take some getting used to, game changer!

Initial results: 1st gear is near worthless now. The feel of the rear end pulling is different, but a good different. Gotta be on top of my gear shifts til I get used to that change.
I did notice I was about 2600 rpm at about 62-63 mph (per my not adjusted speedo) on the way to work this morning. That's in 5th gear, cruise set, and baby 245/75 r16 Grabbers.

All that tech stuff aside, it's fucking amazing and the truck feels more alive than ever before! Strongly recommend a re-gear and locker for anyone on the fence

at least it didn't take 4 days like my clutch :notsure:

The only reason I'm iffy on that is I think the driver's side door may need some body work to be functional. Not sure.

Yeah I've looked around some, but the biggest thing is that I don't really have anywhere to work on it that doesn't involve a very expensive tow.

Yeah that's also definitely an option haha. As long as I can fit in it I'll consider it!

Rent a tow dolly from Uhaul. Tow it yourself.

Yeah I've been looking into that, because that would be a much cheaper option. I'm not sure how secure it would be with the front driver's side wheel all jacked up. But that is something I'm looking into.

Bring a couple extra ratchet straps to secure the frame to the dolly and it will be good.

I need the lower pocket below the ac controls if anybody knows where one is at or has one I will gladly buy it. 2nd gen gray pocket. I had a bottle of gorrila glue leak and every thing in that pocket is stuck now. Any leads would be helpful.

I would like to see underside pics to survey the damage, I bet it's mostly easy stuff to fix other than possibly the steering rack.

You and me both, but I'm not sure this shop is going to be very helpful in that regard haha. Seems like they just want to highlander outta there.

But they took over 3 weeks to come back and tell me that they weren't going to do any of the things they originally said they would. So they can sit and spin.

If you have a tractor in your parking garage I don't see how they're gonna say anything about your Highlander lol

Because the tractor runs. Doesn't make any sense to me, but yeah. This building is weird haha

I am planning on talking to the building manager though
