Trucks arent the cheapest hobby. Haha Until the Harrop came to the U.S., the ARB was the only thing you could get. There's gonna be a group of ARB fanboys who will stick with them no matter what and see an e-locker as some kind of weak, pussy oem shit but I can imagine ARB incorporating electronics or completely redesigning their locker to become more on par with an elocker reliability.

I'm interested in your experience with the Harrop when you use it. Sounds like a much easier install. Depending on the amp draw you may want to wire it to a relay so you don't have high-ish amps flowing to a switch on your dash haha

In all fairness to ARB,all the problems were with the front locker. Rear did ok. Fittings leaked continuously though.

So far I'm a perfect 3 for 3 with Detroit. No breaks yet.

welp my office was going to "junk" a bunch of old IT stuff in the basement, so all of the employees were invited to look through all of it. I grabbed a box full of RAM, a laser printer, brand new unopened boxes of toner, and a verizon wifi hotspot. I have listed about 75% of it on ebay so far and I stand to make about $250 in profit after the fees and shipping is factored in. So I guess that was my good fortune after missing out on the $220 Marlin discount.

Most of the folks were looking at mice, keyboards and monitors and I was looking at shit with a decent street value that would make a quick sale and would be easy to ship. :D

That's how it works sometimes.... I may have got the only bad arb front locker ever built (unlikely) but my batting average was just .500. 3 good Detroit lockers and we're still batting .1000.

To be clear, batting .1000 is far worse than batting .500... Now, batting 1.000...

This. I loved my Elocker when I had one, despite the tacoma world e wheelers that said it should have broken evreytrip. No issues, worked 100% of the time. ARBs are garbage, oh and in before "its not setup right if it fails" tards start squawking.
