I've got to drop off some beer at his place tonight or tomorrow anyways, so I'll do that while I'm there.

I think they have a 5.25 BS, making the offset about 30 mm, which seems typical of Tacoma wheels.

I'll let you know what I measure as well, but I'd bet you're right.

    7 inch wheel = 177.8 mm. Offset = -17 so backspacing is 88.9 - 17mm = 71.9 mm. 71.9mm to inches = 2.83 inches

Could be wrong but if offset measures the distance from the middle of the wheel and BS is the mounting surface to the back of the wheel.. the math adds up but that's SUPER LOW backspacing.

    upload_2019-5-6_13-46-20.jpg

Now if the offset was +30 (seems like people are not sure?), then the BS would be 88.9+30 = 118.9 or 4.7 inch BS. Which sounds more like stock toyota BS for most truck wheels

That's what I figured, which makes them no good for my application. 4.5" is stock for 1st gen taco/3rd gen runner. I'd be rubbing frame with little tires. haha.

Yeah weirdly there isn't much info about the stock SR5 steelies for 2nd gens.

The tires would work perfectly for your needs even if the wheels don't. And there's always wheel spacers haha

Plenty of tread left on them too! Make me an offer, I'm flexible.

I can't find official specs on the backspacing of those steel wheels. But after some digging, I'm finding numbers ranging anywhere from 4.5 to 5.5 BS, 5.25 being the most common.

A 7" wheel is 8" wide. Go fix your math.
