Well, that definitely sucks, at least it didn't kill you! How did the ladder end up in the road?

How did the ladder end up in the air at windshield level without other damages to your truck?

Most of our 05-11 2nd gen guys already have the proper type of front bumper right? ......... so that gives me a good chance to score it :cookiemonster:

Looks really really good. Changed a lot since I’ve seen it.

Yeah, I’m glad it’s not worse, and that it was a fiberglass ladder. It fell off a truck, slid to the side of the bridge where it bounced off the concrete barrier, slid back into the road, and the truck and trailer in front of me hit it and sent it flying my direction.
It smacked across the front driver side of the truck scuffing up my bumper and knocking loose my fog light. Went up across the hood and fender, hit the pillar and folded the mirror, taking the backplate with it. Right after me a semi hit the ladder and shattered it. I’ve got scrapes all along where it traveled across the truck but they just sort of blend in with all the other scratches and scrapes.
When I was in Florida last week our friends got worried someone had keyed my truck, my wife and I both laughed.

I resealed some corners on my gutter. F@#k is it hot out.
Sunburnt, dehydrated, and still a lot more seams to do. I quit.

Came down the ladder once and there was a mf wolf spider covered in babies on the brick right in front of my face at like 10 ft above ground.
