    We did a thing...

    40’ Gooseneck
    17’ living quarters
17’ cargo area with swinging wall to open to living quarters
    AC/fridge/microwave/TV
    Queen sized bed and futon

Tacoma and karts will fit nicely

Not thrilled about the price tag putting a dent in house down payment money. But, it was a phenomenal deal on the exact trailer I’ve always wanted and we’re happy to have it and have fun with it.

Thanks guys! We are really excited to get out and use it the weekend after Labor Day on a wheeling trip. Already slept Saturday night outside KC in it and a queen mattress sure beats the hell out of my old cots!

    It’s multi-purpose and already pre-lubed. :D

    Thanks!

The funny part is that this trailer tracks straighter, pushes the truck around less in the wind, and gets the same mileage as either my 16' enclosed or the Tacoma on the open car hauler. Apparently a gooseneck and triple 7k torsion axles make a big difference compared to bumper pull stuff. I was a little worried about a SRW truck with 250hp pulling that much trailer but it was great at 72mph the whole way, I honestly forgot it was behind me until I went to make lane changes and needed 60 feet of opening side to side.

Hahaha I did have an interesting 3-point turn in a Taco Bell parking lot that I thought was a pull through but was a dead end. I feel like one of my drivers trying to find lunch in a semi-truck and trailer now.

I got right at 11 through the rolling hills of MO and haven't filled up since downstate IL. That's pretty much exactly what I get with the current race trailer or Tacoma hanging off the back. 10-13 is pretty much my norm depending on speed and wind direction. My Dad's Tundra was putting in consistent 8.5-9.5mpg tanks with the race trailer last weekend on the way home from Cincinnati going 75 or so. The new trailer is only 6-8 inches or so taller than my current enclosed trailer and closer to the cab of the truck with the gooseneck so I think that helps mitigate the extra weight. Aerodynamics are a motherfucker for big enclosed trailers on the highway.

Make sure you leave the truck in the fuel island and go inside and get food for 20mins, the truckers will respect you for that.
