It’s crazy how much better a color matched grille makes those trucks look

That does look good. Now for black headlights (or dark gray metallic).

Maybe at some point, I’d have to find a good deal, or be bored enough to paint mine so it likely won’t happen for a good while. I have a hard time making myself invest in anything cosmetic.

Watched a immature eastern kingsnake eat an earth snake. Pretty cool.

Once saw a pair of snakes fighting and chasing. Assume it was fighting anyway. Both 4ft+ and making more noise than a bunch of squirrels crashing in the leaves near a creek. And they were fast too. Surprised me.

How do you take care of new paint? By dragging it through the woods and giving it a mud bath of course.

I gained an extra inch in just 2 hours today.

Put new coils on back of 4Runner. The old coils that were only giving about 1" lift and the new coils for 2.5" lift have the same number oil winds and same free length. Only difference i see is that new springs are slightly thicker. Thought that was interesting.

Guess I'll have to adjust fronts up to match now.

Anyone in the Chatt area have a welder or can recommend a good muffler shop? Need some tweaks done to my GTI's exhaust and just moved down here with minimal tools

Keeping the Bilstein 5160/6112 shocks. Changed rear coils from Wheelers T13 to OME 2895.
The T13s had settled 1/2" and sagged too much with any extra cargo weight. Was going to just add airbags to deal with weight but decided I wanted more lift first.

Anyone in the East TN area willing to help someone out with the ECGS bushing for a 1st gen? I need help because I’m not confident enough to replace it by myself. TIA

I’m not sure we have anyone in here from east tn anymore.

I’d probably buy the puller from you when you’re done.

Hey everyone. Recently started looking into places to retire at after my service is finished (3 years left) and the wife brought up Tennessee as a state she'd like to know more about. What is so good about the state? Job opportunities? Cities that are lower cost, but still decent job pay? Schools in the areas? I have been to TN once for a day, and the wife has never been further southeast than Dallas (she is from KS originally).

What sets the state apart? I work in aircraft in the military, but have a project management degree and years of management and acquisition knowledge. Wife is a nurse (pay for them?). Just trying to go through places to potentially look at.
