Yea those sucked for sure. There were more financial equations on my test. I also got lucky and got two radiation calculation questions that the span indstructor said "I never heard of anyone getting either of these questions so we will skip over them". Bam I got both lol. I took the ASSE prep class as well and it was good.

 

Would you suggest span or ASSP to use as a prep course?

 

I used both actually. One of my coworkers bought the span online the course and may or may not have given me the online course videos. Videos were good, but the ASSE book helped as well.

Yeah, back when i was laying out workcells and designing custom equipment, the EHS review was always enlightening.

 

They still are... it's so easy to shine in the field of EHS by not being a douchebag. 95% of safety dudes still are IMO.

I pride myself in not being a safety douchebag. Outside of work I'm a total DB.

Want to weld a tip on exhaust. Can i MIG it with the usual copper wire + gas? Will it hold fine just look odd due to tailpipe being stainless?

 

Whatever you do make sure it's really well ventilated and dont inhale the smoke, full of hex chrome.

 

I keep forgetting you guys weld indoors lol
