Got the floor sealed and my interior back in. Took it for an alignment today got the trans checked out, and new exhaust put in place. According to the trans shop we over filled it by 3/4 -1 quart. Tomorrow it’s going back to the shop for new rear drums and guts. Evidently at some point in the trucks 10 years life span I was supposed to change those ......

But here’s the interior shot of how it’s all set up and now I just need to get a shifter boot and a little more trimming to the center pen holder so it doesn’t hit the center console.

We are moving to Arizona this weekend and as I was cleaning the garage I found that I still have my tail lights, fog lights, leaf springs, and full suspension with UCAs off my 2017 TRD OR. All that stuff was pulled off at about 28000 miles. Anyone need any of those items, shoot me a fair offer and you can come to pick it up. I am located in Brentwood.

Oh knox make sure you have a can of paint thinner to run through the gun between bottles on the raptor! Just a little bit to clean the gun out. Trust me on that.

Alright new gears 4.88 or 4.56? What’s your opinion. Full armor (skids, bumpers, sliders), 35’s, 75 on the interstate currently around 2800-2900 rpm. No plan on ever seeing bigger tires. But do see more additions as time goes weight wise. Dcsb

4.88s always go lower than you think you will need.

Cut & broke off stuff. Prolific ziptie and tape usage.
I'd say it depends where you spend the most time driving it.

If most of your driving is slow like around town or trails, go lower.
If you do a lot of highway, go higher.

I was ok with stock gearing on 34s plus armor etc on the taco because I mostly drove hwy but I could feel it in stop-n-go conditions.

Mine is a big mix. So far I’ve been perfectly fine with stock gearing but I feel like my truck got significantly slower/ sluggish after converting to 4wd also I know it’s early but I feel like my mpg have gone down too.

I’m a 4.56 guy due to my mix of driving, but I think you won’t go wrong with either.

You will like either. I'm still running 4.56 on my 37 and no plan to change in the near future.

Sounds like 4:56 is the key.

Does this look right for the front ? I’m confused why it wants me to select some thing when I’m ordering a pre assembled differential. Maybe I’m ordering the wrong thing. I’m wanting to order the whole thing then just send them mine.

If I've had both 4.56s and 4.88s with 35s. Go with 4.88s definitely. You'll burn a bit more gas than with 4.56s, but it drives SO much better both on and off road. If I had it all to do over again I'd go 4.88s without question. It's also nice when you go to those bigger tires you say you aren't getting now.

That's correct. I added the solid spacer and bushing both times on mine though, mostly for peace of mind and doing it once. The reason you have to select the options is so they know how to build it before they send it to you. Then you swap them out and send them your old unit.
