Same wheel base as the FRS but with no back seat. I'd assume it seams small because its a true 2 seater sports car like an s2000 or Miata. Def not practical for everyday life. I really wish it had a backseat, even if it was bullshit, so I could store a baby seat.

I sat in one, poked around, didn't drive. Honestly didn't like driver seating position and a few other interior things.
One thing is roofline curves down too much at doors and felt like I was scrunching down to look out the sides because of it.
    FRS/86/BRZ is more comfortable.

86 with mods could make more power than Z4 and still cost a whole lot less. :D

But those mods cost more than I'm allowed to spend.

My dad once told how much space his old GTO had... LOL

My mom didn't like him sharing those stories of muscle cars and military shenanigans from before her. I thought it was funny.

I've been experimenting with smoking meats on a gas grill for the last few days.
Did burgers and chicken thighs yesterday. Smoke flavor was weak but still pretty good.
Rain held off long enough this morning that I got some brisket done. Just ate some. Moisture was good but smokiness still a bit weak in the flavor. Need to keep working on my methods.
Got some ribs in the fridge and a plan for them tomorrow if the weather cooperates.

Cool. I use an orion now, but used to smoke in my grill. I would put 2 cast iron boxes full soaked chips on one side and my meat on the other. I would keep the burners off on the meat side and at the end finish the meat off with a little high heat to get a little char. I had to experiment a lot like you are With the times. I am no pit master, but i was always happy.. but i might have lower expectations than most people lol. Moisture and tenderness was always my main concern.

I think too much ventilation is part of the issue with my grill. I haven't blocked any vents yet so the wind yesterday especially was pulling a lot of my smoke out.

Anyone ecgs bushing pros here? I’ve got the tools, it just gives me anxiety. Just installed my lift and couldn’t come to try and smack that cv out.

Smacking the cv out is super easy. Get a good 3 lb mini sledge, a pry bar, and of in from the opposite side. Put the pry bar on that cut out lip area that looks like it would be perfect to do what you’re about to do. Give it 3-4 real good love taps and out it pops. The bushing isn’t a 5 min job but I’d say about 30-45 minutes. @Aardvark13 just did his about a month ago he can tell you how long it took him.

I also want to shout out if you are by Clarksville, Johnson’s DIY garage is the most friendly clean and knowledgeable place. Mr. Johnson and his wife are awesome. Good pricing, every tool, welding machine, anything you need possible. Free bottle water too! No seriously though, he helped me put in and taught me the ropes I could’ve done the whole thing with the tricks he showed me in probably 2 hours. With stopping to teach, took us about 2 hours and 50 minutes. So if anyone reads this and needs help, this is the way to go. On base DIY is terrible compared to this.

edit:yes I know I was trying to find someone to help with ecgs, just because 99% of the people in my area are dumbfounded on it.

Lol! I actually made a 12” piece of ash Wood with a lip to knock mine in and out. Otherwise a new seal for the drivers side diff. is not a bad idea to have. Especially if you are higher miles. Its like $20 or so. Ecgs will sell it to you with the bushing, or the stealership stocks them. How many miles do you have? If you are up there In miles its a snap the change the wheel bearing hub assembly, its only like one more step. Otherwise the bushing really Is pretty easy. Take your time and make sure the tool is lined up just right, needle bearing should slide out firmly, but it shouldnt feel like you might break the tool. Torque specs for everything are here on the site.

    Good luck!

Took me about 2 hours taking my time and inspecting everything. I always like to take a good look when i have things apart. To add to that, i keep a can of rustoleum rust reformer and flat black paint and a wire brush handy when doing any of this stuff to hit any spots i see.
