About to go start chopping my new fender flares and get them bolted on. The drivers rear has seen way better days especially after I slid the drivers bed across a rock yesterday unintentionally. And weighing my ordering options for Kings, foxes, or icon. Going remote Resi for whatever I get. I’m just tired of driving a f’n dump truck so the ome front suspension is going.

Foxes or Kings. Just go ahead and take icon out of the running. After that it’s a toss up. Both incredible.

Hit me up if you ever need a hand, I believe we live fairly close to each other now. I've gotta trim my factory flares soon too.

It’s the 4am drunken piss into the woods that gets you!

The first year we did it, it was single digits one night. All the times since have been a bit warmer

I have Kings Foxs and Icons on different rigs, only the foxs have leaked but that doesn't mean much. I would say kings or fox still, pick which color you like and you'll be good. Don't bad mouth those OMEs, not their fault you added another trucks worth of weight lol..

hopefully soon :/ I never got my tires balanced perfectly so I just stay off the highway.

Is this in reference to our first LBL trip? Whether your answer is yes or no, it unexpectedly did snow on our first LBL trip lol. Every one of us were hugging hot waterbottles lmao.

EDIT: I read back. My comment is still relevant lol

Oh dude very nice! That entire list is upcoming for me as well.. ugh.

I can't speak to Tacoma specific suspension but I have ICON 2.5's on my Tundra and if I could do it over I would go with either ADS or King. Fox are a no-go on the Tundra due to the lower cup banging the brake line. I've not had any issues with the ICON's yet but I honestly thought the truck would ride a little nicer.

Cut & broke off stuff. Prolific ziptie and tape usage.
I got as far as loading a mini greasegun with a silicone/ptfe grease for poly bushings and looked at my new UCAs in their box before deciding it was too f-ing hot out.

How was the front end overhaul? I'm getting ready to do mine for the first time. My lower ball joints are shot, and I have been needing to get aftermarket uca's for about 70k miles now. Were your cam bolts a pain?

Actually they weren’t bad at all. I had been hitting them with pb blaster occasionally the last couple months and i dont know if that was part of it but i only had to push one out with a punch, and even then it wasn’t really that stuck, just too tight to pull out by hand. I did put some antiseize on them when the new lcas went in.

    Virgin off-roader no longer!
Visited my son in Johnson City and we (the whole family) followed him up to the Pinnacle Mtn lookout tower. Had a blast. Mostly gravel w/ washboarding and a few deep-ass potholes. We got a little muddy on a side trail, but nothing excessive. (this is the "before" pic) but... had a blast and definitely want to go back... and go further. Also, haven't forgotten about the Hurricane Creek area off I-40 either.
Thank you for reading this self-boasting post. That is all.
