    Who knows salamanders?

Didn't have phone to get a pic but found a salamander in the yard yesterday when i was ripping out some thick layers of ivy vines and leaf debris.
    Dark smoky gray color.
Had very small/fine light color specks, whitish or silver maybe. No big spots.
About 4 inches long nose to tail as best I could tell.
More of a slender build, not fat.

Can't figure it out from pics on TWRA site. Way over here is out of the known habitats for some of the ones I thought looked like it.

Sounds more like a skink than a salamander. How about this guy?

Ask @rngr he's the wildlife identifier fella.

Anyone around Knoxville have access to Toyota Tech Stream? I have tried everything to get a firm brake pedal since replacing my calipers and I can't seem to make it happen. Apparently you can use Tech Stream to tell the ABS to purge the system. I'm running out of idea and this mushy pedal has sucked the joy out of driving my truck.

ECU TSB Update | Tacoma World If you have the computer, the link provided will get you 14.20 up and running which should work for you.

I have it loaded, but I have not played with it on my current laptop.

Isn't there some trick about using a steep incline to burp the bubbles to the top or something? Maybe that's for the a-trac module or something. Don't remember for sure. Someone in here did something odd bleeding a 2nd gen taco.

I let my master cylinder run almost dry (it was below the reservoir) when I had a failed rear brake line. Bled and bled with clear liquid through an 8ft hose to be sure. Ended up on TW/google and found that air was behind the plunger/piston of the master cylinder and should be towed to a dealer. Eff that. Look up "bench bleed" of the master cylinder. In my research I saw no need to remove it from the truck as the only part of "bench bleed" was the nose-high angle of the master cylinder while you performed the bleed. On your bench. Bench not needed, DYF FTMFW

I've heard of this trick, but it was for burping the cooling system after you do a coolant flush. Never heard of anyone doing it for brake lines. I found an answer to my own question though. TechStream doesn't work on my truck.

Yeah, burping wasn't the right word. It was beertime that I was thinking of, he posted above.

If it has no exterior damage or significant interior wear, ~$17K.

I'd remove all that stuff in the back, and sell in the TN or SE BST thread. I doubt it's going to add much in the way of value in resale with the truck.

Fwiw I sold mine for 19,500 2010 pre runner converted to 4wd on 35’s with 4:88’s with 205k+ . I left cap, suspension , tires, racks, lights, bumpers and winch on when I sold it. Everything else got pulled. Radio, comms (left the ham and gmrs antennas so it didn’t leave holes), ram mounts, rtt, cargo glide, fridge, dual battery )

that was last year in September.
