I see the Tennessee thread is a bit more popular than the North Carolina thread. If there is a group trip happening I am down to try and make it. My most recent trip was hurricane creek off I-40 in N.C. and looking to hit some trails in Tennessee.

 

@slander you'll get a kick out of this, and I might get a ban for it. So you remember my name for a unit of wood from AOP...years later I find that it turns out I wasn't too far off from an actual term.

Anyone have factory front struts/springs laying around they'd let go cheap? My dobinson coilovers have to get sent in for warranty work it looks like, and I'd rather not put my old 5100s back on as they are 8+years old and toast. Gonna have a gnarly rake for a bit but considering going this route so at least it may ride halfway decent since it's my current daily. Would 3rd gen offroad struts be the tallest factory setup?

 

I have a full set of TRD Sports front struts and rear shocks with 5K on them. They still have the factory springs installed. I will let them go for $100. I'm over in Maryville.

After 3 days touring your state (well, Nashville area), we decided on the Lebanon area. Outside of Davidson county... Slightly cheaper than some other areas we wanted, but still a nice area. Other areas we discussed are Gallatin and Hendersonville. But those are a bit more of a drive to the school we picked for the kids than we'd like.

Thoughts on the area? Places to avoid?

 

I'm just happy they are out of my overly full garage.

That thing is gonna get me in trouble eventually and since I've gone to working from home long term the 30+mpg doesn't matter much now.
