Does anyone use the Kroger Fuel Points System? It helps. A little. Lol.

My youngest turns 10 this Tuesday. He's gonna have a turn jumping around at a bounce gym with a friend Sunday.

    Probably. Lol.

I'm down to 150lbs and have something resembling a physique. I've been mostly consistent doing 30/30 (3 sets of 10) with sit & push-ups.

She does an hour on a treadmill everyday. She has a run/fast walk routine where she hits 5 miles in an hour.

When the weather is good, we go on a faster paced walk when I get home from work. We also take the dog with us. We go 45 mins to an hour depending on time.

That puts her at almost 9 miles of leg moving a day when we do get out in the evenings.

I use the heck out of the fuel points, especially whenever I can get 4x points on gift cards. I’ve saved over $600 so far this year, and over $2000 last year.

EDIT: The key to good savings is use all 35 gals worth every time. I have several 5gal gas cans I use to make sure I get full use of the points.

Looks like we will be moving to the Donelson area of Nashville... or within driving distance. Our kids got into a school there.

Anyone got a hook up on rental houses in the area? Looking to rent for 6-12 months until prices either taper or decline. Or at least the market to die down a little. New builds are going to bidding now also.

With everyone moving here from California I don’t see prices dropping anytime soon, hopefully they’ll level out some. Good luck finding a rental, the market is tough right now.

I can ask my realtor. I think she owns a few. I’d suggest looking hermitage/ mount juliet. It’ll cost a little more but you’re in a much better area. I just bought out in Lebanon.

Are you referencing Donelson Christian? I went there for a bit as a kid and know a ton of people who have gone. Wasn’t ever great, wouldn’t recommend it. Have no knowledge of it in the last 10-15 years though, so it could’ve gotten better.

Wilson county public schools are some of the best in the area. Mount juliet in particular.

Donelson Christian, yeah. It was between that and Friendship in Lebanon, but we kept getting the less sure of the spots they had open. Donelson got hit by a tornado a few years back, so it was completely rebuilt.

We are looking between West Lebanon, Hendersonville, to the areas directly surrounding the school like you mentioned. I found a few rentals, but I won't be needing one until June/July.

My buddy’s dad’s shop was right down the road. I was out there the day it happened helping clean up and shit. It was insane to see in person.

Friendship has always been a much better school as far as curriculum and overall child development. Atleast from what I heard from parents and from what I’ve witnessed with the caliber of people that have graduated from the two.

Having just lost out on a handful of house to Californians moving in with all cash offers, I’d say “fuck you, stay out of Lebanon” but from one TW’er to another, “Lebanon is a much better area and I’d suggest going there or Watertown. Just remember that this is a red state and is great because of that. Don’t bring California’s shitty politics with you”

I'm not a Californian. I'm a retiring military member that wants to be in a more red state. I just happen to be stationed in California right now.
