Hey TW. Does anyone have a CV needle bearing puller? Went to swap CV and found the needle bearing was DOA.

    TIA!

What's it mean when first aide station looks like a wild animal attacked the bandaid box ripping it apart and scattering them all over table but there are no recent accident reports filed?

Sometime in the next year my wife and I will be headed this way. We just purchased some land outside Dunlap fornour retirement home.

Currently playing around at Windrock with some friends from home (northern VA).

Does anyone know of a shop in the Middle Tennessee area that can work on 1989 4Runner and do a 3.4 swap and other things? Thanks

Anyone in the Knoxville area have recommendations for a shop to do some frame clean up? Don't really have a spot to do it myself and am willing to pay to get it done right.

D&S Fabrication in Clinton might help you out.
They used to (might still) do frame patch kits for rusted frames.
If they can do that, they can surely help you out on clean up.

Thanks! I reached out and we will see if it's something they'd work on. Definitely still open to other suggestions if anyone has some

I don't weld, and the people I know that can "can't". (if you know what I mean?)

Found a 2nd gen Sequoia that was cheap because needed some work and I assumed I could do most of it. Glad it was cheap because every time I get in to do one thing, I find something else.

Started out thinking I could just vacuum interior but ended up with interior stripped down to the metal. Drink spills, melted candy, dog hair, etc.

Changed oil today. Found skid plate was missing 1.5 bolts. That other half bolt was still threaded into the frame. LOL. At least condition of oil and filter looked normal. Rear diff oil even looked good like it had been changed at some point in the last 50k miles maybe.

Thinking serpentine belt looks original and due for replacement plus idler pulley and tensioner would be a good plan while in there. I've never done that job. Easy enough as DIY or worth paying someone else to do it? Looks like some of it might be tough reach.

You could DIY the belt and pulleys.

You can definitely diy. Removing the radiator and fan may be worth your time for the extra space when doing the pulley

    What year?

I might be able to pull some service info and see what the job entails. Sounds easy enough. But you never know. A belt tensioner sounds easy on a 2nd Gen Tacoma. But you have to take all kinds of crap off to get to it.
