Memphis guys:

Anywhere other than dealer around here that you've used to get new keys and remotes done for Toyotas? I need extra set.

 

OEM from dealer is what I would trust. The newer technology involved with key/remote/locking systems.... aftermarket tend to have issues.

Do you know if i have to get the old style separate remote & key since that's what it currently has or can i get the newer fob&key all-in-one style?

 

As far as I know, the blade/fob isn't compatible due to length and thickness of the blade.

 

Just found this thread, I'm new to TW just purchased a 2023 Tacoma TRD ORSB AT and love it. Oh yeah. and I'm checking in from Millington, Tennessee.

 

Where do people wheel at in west TN, I have been to the Land Between the Lakes and down near Pickwick. I might head up to Missouri and hit some of those trails in a couple of weeks.

 

We always drive a few hours. Those are some good spots. If you like offroad parks there are tons within a few hours like Hawk Pride, AOP, Windrock, Hot Springs, and Flat Nasty. If you like public trails there are lots in the Ozarks in Arkansas and Missouri. NE Tennessee or SE Kentucky have some cool places too, for a little farther drive

 

My vote is windrock but that's because I live 30 minutes away lol.

 

+1 vote on Windrock. I'm 1 hour away. Probably a good trip for some to Oliver Springs, TN. But worth it.

More than likely heading up to Missouri this weekend for some trails in Mark Twain National Forrest.

 

We spent a couple days at Windrock last month. Well worth it and can't wait to be closer. We purchased property near Dunlap, so some day trips will be in order.

 

Nice truck, I went to St. Louis last September for a Cardinals game and hit St. Joe state park in Park Hills Mo.

 

Im think I going to keep mine as close to stock at least suspension wise for a minute. I am going to go with some 255/85r16s when its time for new shoes lol

 

It's hard to tell in the pic, but that's a Marine Corp flag. I grew up around Detroit, so for better or (mostly) worse...

 

Smart move. Wait and see how you use it and build for that.
