Just kidding with you man. Yes, it does look suspicious, but it's not really a scam if the truck is in fact real, and checks out in person. I've bought two vehicles off of ebay, and both checked just like the ad said. And this is a classified ad on ebay. No one's gonna send money for a truck that is not protected under ebay's policies. It's just like opening the Sunday classified, finding a vehicle you like, and going to see it in person. If you like it and it checks out, good. If not, it was a waste of time. The price of this one is too good to be true, but it might be worth taking a look at.

 

If nothing else, it'll be good for a laugh. I bet you get some serious run around as soon as you ask to see it.

 

Exactly what I was thinking. " I'd like to come see the truck." And the reply, " Oh, well it's actually at my brothers' girlfriends' house, and uh, if you could just put a deposit down, I'll go pick it up for you." And with any response like that, my response would be "Click."

well I just had a guy in a 1st gen wave at me on the way to the dump. I waved back. I don’t think i know him either.

all 21 years of my life. lived in the 1st house for 16 years. and now in the 2nd house since match of ‘08

 

I realize that I live in a small town, but around here, everyone waves at everyone with at least a finger or two in passing. When I was little I remember asking my Dad why everyone always waved when they might not know who they were waving at, and he said the same reason you hold doors open for strangers, that it was just an act of respect and acknowledgment from like-minded townsfolk. I've been doing it ever since.

 

yeah. I see some of it around here. (mostly the older guys) also a lot of the people around her are nude, i hold doors open and got get a “thank you” about 70% of the time. pisses me the fu** off. it takes no energy to say thank you when someone holds the door open.

the guy may have just been waving. but I kinda think it had todo with both being in tacoma’s just considering how many people just wave at everyone around here.
