    I was referring to the Cadillac ride. Soft ride makes for a lot of flopping around on the trail. Just like a stock vehicle, rides smooth on road but translates to shit off road

    Yall sound like a bunch of women!!! Learn how to drive first. Then you won't be so worried about breaking shit. This is the lamest excuse ever for not wanting to go to a meet. Yall think yall are the only ones who's trucks are DDs? Yall think because we went to the LBL meet that everyone had the intentions of breaking something!? If I broke something on my truck I would be fucked!! So yall will take your trucks down trails and through mud holes close to the comfort of your homes but can't go to an off-road park!? Has it ever crossed yalls mind that ANY time u go offroad u could break something?? I snapped a rear axle in my other yota while I was driving down the street and it was my DD. Does that mean that I shouldn't drive on the street because of fear of breaking something?? Shit happens. Ever seen a fully built buggy with brand new Dana 60s and 40s break a rear end doing a simple hill climb? I have. But yet Tim in his brand new STOCK Tacoma wheeled the shit outta his truck at LBL and didn't break anything. Levi is very loosely telling yall not to be scared because it doesn't matter how confident or how scared u are, if a part on your truck wants to break, there ain't shit u can do about it. I'm not goin on any off-road trip with ANY intent on breaking something but that's not gonna stop me from doin everything I know my truck is very capable of doing or from having the enjoyment of showing up and meeting all these fake friends I have on TW and maybe sharing a few laughs and stories. There is not a single person in this thread that has a DD that they drive "hardcore" off-road. If you are scared to come to a meet with these people because u think we are too "hardcore" on our trucks then maybe you are missing some of the point of having a meet.

    yeah thats what i went you got it out.
    first off after all the stores i have personally heard from friends with stock trucks braking stuff and damaging stuff at windrock. i don’t want to take the chance. if i had a lift and sliders maybe i would be more inclined to coming.

    also out of the 25 to30 so miles me and fun runner did a good 15 or so was old and newer logging roads, that i did in 2WD. and the wildlife officers take their full size trucks down must of what we went down almost daily, specially during hunting season like it is right now.

    I have been told that Windrock is A lot different from LBL! hell other members have had meets at windrock, and they are good at wheeling and have broke shit at windrock. yeah some stuff could just brake on the road as well. but not as likely.

    its not about getting what is different its about getting what everyone hasnt already ran into the ground and thinks are now golden eggs. i admit zukes are great at what they do, but when a ragged out thrown together zukes demands 5gs and are hard to find for sale to begin with in your area yet a tracker is easily found and can be had for just a few hundred dollars that is what catches my eye. for what a run down zuke would cost me i could pretty well build a tracker. that is the only reason i consider them. and yeah im pretty sure trackers are ifs but mine wouldnt be for long if i ever got one. wouldnt take much to sas one. you can find wrecked dodge rams all over down here and it would be a great donor vehicle imo, but i havent really ever researched it much yet bc i am still in the midst of building my truck.

    Calm down. Not everyone wants to wreck his 3-year-old truck. I went to Windrock two weeks ago, with my truck. I know exactly what I'm talking about from first-hand experience, and my truck is not ready for the majority of Windrock. I will not be taking it back.

    I'm letting everyone else know what my experience was. Windrock is far and away harder than LBL, I've done both.

    Anyone can go who wants to, it should be fun. I'm just letting people know what I saw so they can decide.

    I've seen seeing samis all over for between 2 and 3500, they didn't seem that bad to me. I'm particularly eyeing any that already have 80-85 toyota axles swapped in, they're plenty strong enough to handle 35's.

    When I get to where I can start looking, I'm going to go for something as complete as possible probably though. The cost of that axle swap has shot up as its gotten more popular, I'm probably looking at 1500-ish in parts; it looks like buying one already swapped will be cheaper.

    And I don't know why u think I'm not calm. It's all good dude. I honestly don't care where we have a meet at. I just don't understand why everyone is so "scared" to have a meet at an off-road park. We can have it in the parking lot of Wal-Mart if that makes everyone feel safe enough. Although a car might hit u so maybe set some orange cones up as well
