I say either royal blue, Harlan ky, or hell even Lbl again.....

But I'd say we should have the meet at a Walmart camp out there then go to the mall for some serious crawling :spy:

also another things, is the ride royal blue camp grounds are usually books a few months out i think. and pretty much everyone has atvs’s /dirt bikes and side by sides/utv’s and not trucks or jeeps. and gid probably would not like it. and i really don’t think any of you all could do the sand mines. i know people that have flip and broke stuff on purposely built trail buggies and they have a hard time making it with 35"s and even 37”s+ tires.

royal blue is not very big with a lot of guys coming with trucks or jeeps. most the trucks and jeeps are locals.

    lol

and it’s not that i don’t recommend a meet there. but idk if it’s really worth it to drive 3/4 of the way a cross the state for it. It’s not a bad place and has some good trails, but a stock 4wd and pretty much do all the truck and jeep trails. they have a shit tone of trails but nothing really hard. for a good 4wd truck with good a/ts or M/Ts. me and fun runner did and easy (i think it was an easy trail) and i was kinda worryed at first but once we got down it, i had no problem at all.

I know that site some one listed says 600 miles of trails. but thats for atv’s they have a bunch of atv trails/ and you have to watch it pretty well some on the west side are not marked.(they have not had the time do mark them all) and you may think it’s a jeep trail when it’s an atv trail, and get down it some and not be able to turn around, with a nice groub of truck. i know a few trails that the rhino has a hard time fitting down and it’s 56” wide.

I agree with Zach. The pros to royal blue is that it has a wide range of trails from real easy to very difficult. The con is most trails are not able to have a truck go down them due to most the trails being set up for atvs. So it's a good place for a meet. But, if we wheel which we will, we would knock all the trails out quickly.

hell if we did both sides it would take a good 2 days of wheeling.

but if i new what Royal blue was likes and lived 3/4 of the across the state i probably would not drive that for and bring a truck, i’d bring atv or rhino.

So, I was just getting caught up and reading the past couple of pages. Here is my summary of the last couple of pages. So, just read this to get caught up. lol...

    1. Everyone wants to have a meet.
    2. Windrock is too much for most trucks and not enough spare seats.
    3. Royal Blue is easy.
    4. The point of a meet and greet is to hang out and meet everyone not just go wheeling.

So, here is my opinion... I want in! I will go wherever. I have several friends with atv's and utv's that go to Windrock 5 or 6 times a year and they love it. I have never been personally. They have all told me they wouldn't recommend anyone going that doesn't have a fully built rig. From the sound of what everyone is saying, that seems like the case. Royal Blue isn't in the same ball park, but they do look to have some difficult sections with the sand mines.

Just from what I am hearing, most people don't want to try windrock, which seems understandable. Seems like Royal Blue wouldn't be a bad thing, because everyone could take their truck and everyone is there for the party! lol... Hanging out and camping would be fun and if everyone could drive their truck, then it seems like more people would come.

So, I guess my vote would be Royal Blue or the combination of the two like someone else mentioned. I am not a big fan of moving camp once I am setup, but it's not the end of the world. The only reason I voted there is because I think more people would go and more people would be involved with taking their trucks. For me that would be more important in the meet and greet criteria.

But if you want to wheel hard and don't care about the meet and greet, then windrock. I will try to go to either no matter what since I missed the last one, but at least I had a good excuse.

^^ i agree if we did royal blue i think more people would come. id some of the guys. like gideon and levi(just saying those names because the seams to have the most built trucks) don’t mind mostly pretty easy stuff and the drive out here, then RB would be good.

If we do blue i’ll throw out the idea of me leading, i probably know the trails the best out of everyone that would be coming.
