When would you use it though?

 

idk. lol. plain trips to off road places and camp. camp for a weekend at royal blue. maybe use it on my trip to alaska save money on a hotel for a night. maybe take it out to moab and wheel.

i don’t mind a tent. but tents suck in the winter. and for more than 2 or 3 days. one day i WILL drive to alaska. it’s a little over 4k miles. so would take me about 6 days at 700 miles or so a day.

 

That's a long haul...

 

yeah. but think about how cool it would be! you would have to drive thru canada. i would do it in winter as well.

 

That really would be a fun trip.

 

yeah. take my snowboard and everything. i was thinking maybe go see my family in NY for 2 or 3 days. than go and hit I-80 and than i think i would have to get on I-90 or something. to go in to WY and WA. and than into canada on the Alcan highway witch is like 1500 miles i think. and you can stop at 2 hot springs.

edit: would stop at the world largest truck stop in iowa.=iowa 80.

yeah. and prob not. maybe take a female friend or something. idk would be funner i think with someone.

 

Funnier and more safe. You wouldn't want to get stuck alone somewhere.

 

no. that would suck!! also thats why the bed (and maybe a roof rack) would have recovery gear. by than i hope i would have lift and bumper,winch. so i would have what ever i needed for the winch. shovels, and sand and salt bags in the bed. i would have some extra cloths in the cab but most would be in the camper. i would maybe have an extra light bulb, washer fluid, maybe winter wiper blades. 10 to maybe 15 gallons of extra gas. winter time i hear some stations close or run out of gas and it can be hard to get.

 

Yeah, but that stuff doesn't help you if something happens to you.

I guess for now, we'll have to stick to the good old smoky mountains.

 

yeah. lol. i can’t wait till winter! i want snow. so i can have fun in the truck and snowboard.

yeah. go do some wall mart drifting maybe. or some other parking lot’s i know about with less people.

lol. i got stuck on my drive way in the first snow. stupid rugged fails packed full of snow and just spun. my drive way is pretty steep tho. bed it’s over 7% grade. maybe close to 9 or 10% grade.

 

Anyone go/ know of any trails to take my truck in newport? She's basically stock right now but in a couple of weeks I should have new wheels and tires.
