Truck is in shop getting repainted been in for three days they are redoing a lot of the truck due to the clear coat messing up. New hood and roof and doors with frames. Guy ask me why my engine compartment was full of mud... I guess I forgot to wash that after I sunk the whole front end before I brought it to him. Paint is free. He did tell me not to put my cb antena on the roof do ce it is rusting a hole on the roof, going to have to put it back on the ammo can.

 

yeah there was a big wreck agin today, not far from where gid saw one when he was suck.

 

nice. and yeah my whole engine compartment is covered in mud. lol or muddy water. either way it’s the color of mud, Can not even see in the windsheld washer fluid box.

 

i know i'm wasting my time posting this but we are playing airsoft again this weekend, this time at a field in springfield if anyone wants to join

I already have plans, but I would like to go sometime. I used to play paintball and had all the equipment, so the airsoft looks fun. I have never done it. Does it hurt to get hit by them?

 

did you ever play speedball? that's what i came from and i have to say airsoft is so much better.
on bare skin yes it hurts like a beyotch but on clothing it's not too bad. we've been playing every weekend, def join us sometime man.

I've got a ton of airsoft guns for sale if anyone is interested! Kwa m4, utg shotgun, L96, and a few others. As well as 3 paintball guns.

 

I still have my e2 cocker I need to sell, and a half blocked cocker.

As far as the air soft, I'm good. Though if you would have mentioned that to Levi about a week ago I'm sure you would be a gun or two short haha.

So, I need a little more info... How can you tell if you hit someone? I mean, it was simple with paintball, but these airsoft guns just shoot like a small bb, right?

 

When you get hit you call yourself out. Pretty much it's all about good sportsmanship.

 

Gotcha... I am assuming just like paintball, you can spend some major money on good equipment? I had a $600 paintball gun, it was awesome, but not close to the best. You can spend 2k on one.

it's not nearly as expensive which is why i like it so much. even with my old sponsorships paintball was still expensive as heck.
with airsoft you can still upgrade your guns and they do have expensive ones too but for $150-$200 you can have a really good gun and be ready to play. from there on you can upgrade your gun and build it for whatever you want to play more - close quarter combat, med, and long range. even then it still isn't crazy expensive.
my main pb gun after i was done upgrading was about $1300 and it was maxed out almost. my airsoft gun was $150 and after this weekend i will have spent $300 on upgrading it and it'll be completely maxed out for the range i built it for.
$450 as appose to $1300 is a huge difference.

also with paintball i was spending close to $200 every week playing. wed was team practice, friday and sat was open play, and sundays were training.
with airsoft i spend $50 a month and that's playing every weekend as much as we can.

yeah it's all about the honor system when you get shot though, and most people are honest about it. if you're in normal clothing then you'll def feel it but some of the guys are fully decked out in a military loudout so they'd just feel a little ping.

Yeah, that was one of the main reasons I stopped playing paintball. I had a nice $600 gun, then with upgrades, I have no idea what I spent. Trigger, barrel, etc... So, it was a lot of money, then the paint was crazy. Especially if you had a nice gun, you could go thru paint in no time.

I think I would probably love it! My family owns some land and I had pallets and stuff setup and we would play back there. I am guessing I could just do the same with airsoft. The little bb's price-wise are nothing compared to paint, but I am sure you go thru them faster. I am definitely going to have to check this out. I noticed there are a couple of places around Nashville to play. I have some other friends that like to play, but I haven't never made it out.

dude when you got a free weekend let me know and we'll go play. we have a nice place to play at brads, too. There's an indoor field in dickson, and springfield has an awesome outdoor field. that's where we are going sat.
