The matte black looks good too... I was either getting that or the what I have and decided to not go full black. I think it would look great though. You can't go wrong either way. It took a long time, but if you were doing it on your dd, I would say, get me or a friend and start on Friday night, all day Saturday and you could get I done in one weekend. I did a couple of hours here, couple of hours there...

I crawled under it with my bathing suit on and hit it with the pressure washer that I have. Then took the hose and came back to flush the loosened stuff. My final goal was to spray wd40 all under the truck and have done that.

 

Well, finished one thing Friday and started another yesterday. I changed out all my lights to Jumper's LEDs. Parking light, 3 interior lights, 3rd brake, reverse, license plate, rear turn, shifter, and switchback DTRL's. The DTRL's are white and then blink amber when the flasher is on. They look so much better! Way brighter and clearer. I will get some pics up if someone wants to see them... It was all pretty easy, except for flasher wiring and it wasn't really hard, just hard to get too.

 

I'll wire it once I get some more free time. Been working 7 days 10 hr days since I came back from the RB trip. but time equals money and 10 hrs of double time yesterday isn't something to complain about. Lol

lol, I didn't even get time to take pics last night, but I will tonight. It was midnight before I got done, so I didn't test the dtrl's. I did check and make sure everything else was good though.

Gid i've wanted to paint the face of mine black since i got it, and had planned to do so even before i bought them but they are also silicone sealed and i didn't feel like messing with it. def looks good though man!

 

Yeah i just don't like chrome and I like the "stealth" look of my front end so I had to do it! Lol try and find the time to do it. I think it would look much better! I think ur bar looks badass on the front but would def look better black. Us black guys gotta stick together

 

haha with all my pinstriping my fenders are quickly turning white!
maybe someday when i'm not being so lazy i'll get around to doing that.
