Well could not sleep, and was not even tired at 2am, so i took the rhino a part and cleaned the mud/dirt out of the oil cooler and radiator. got done at 6am.

won’t sleep today, got to mow some, also going out to cotton eyed joe tonight for a concert with my brother and some of his friends.

i had a few when i was working on the rhino. and can’t go to sleep got shit that need to be done. few trees need to be trimmed, back field needs to be mowed. need to do a test run on the rhino and check the bolts agin. had the hood off, the air box out, oil cooler off, took the shocks off to help get oil cooler and radiator lose, and radiator fan lose. stared at 2am and parked the rhino and shut garage at 6am. little rest get some food and get started on stuff for the day.


going to royal blue this weekend with neighbor and maybe get some other people. taking the rhino, maybe the dirt bike idk yet.

Been driving on the lift this week. Only thing I have noticed is a slight vibration between 5-10mph. Is this ok? Other than that it is really stiff. Rides good but stiff. Did get out to LBL on Tuesday and drove some of the unimproved roads. Felt pretty good on the light stuff I encountered.

 

Your vibration is coming from ds angle being off. A 1/4" -1/2" shim on the carrier housing should fix that.

Yep, exactly what he said. Toytec has a little spacer for sale or you can just make one for yourself. If you get an angle finder and get the drive shaft as close to the same thing and you should be able to fix it. Mine was a little worse and it didn't fix it, but mine was coming from the rear different, so I had to use a 3 degree axle shim to correct mine. There a very good thread on how to check everything and line it up correctly, but I am on my phone and out of town. If you don't see it by Monday, remind me and I will get it to you.

What lift did you put on? And like Danny said, make a cb drop. I took a 1/4" thick flat bracket with 3/8"s holes and cut it in half and used them as spacers. Washers would also work. Should be able to spend $3-$4 at home depot and get whatever you need

 

Who was in it?

 

I put the OME 3" on it. AAL in the rear. It came with the dif drop but I have read and been told it is not a good thing to put on.

 

People have had some bad things happen but at the same time, a lot of people run them with no problems. I discovered about 6 months ago that I've been running them since I've had my truck. Lol I put a spacer lift on 5 years ago when I first got it and about 2 1/2 years ago when I went to a mid travel setup, I just never paid attention and left the spacers there. Well when I changed my front diff out, I noticed them. Moral of the story, I've run a diff drop for 94k miles and a spacer lift for half those miles and although I've gotten smarter about wheeling, I used to beat the shit outta my truck and I've never had a problem with either. Of coarse I agree that it may not be worth the risk but I'm living proof that you can run both of those and NOT fuck anything up. (Knock on wood real quick)

So what # spring are you running with the kit? New shocks all the way around? Are the back shocks longer then stock? AAL will always ride stiffer then the right spring pack but you can help that ride by having the right shock, tune, and weight
