I shoot a new model black hawk in 45 lc

Like 7 inch barrel....put some self defense loads in it in an attempt to hurt one of these things.....it put a big bump on the other side

The only thing I have had go through it was a 30-30 at like 15 yd

They were deffinately worth getting.....they are targets that last forever

it’s not hard. lol. been doing it since i was 10. most the time i use shot gun till all the leaves fall off. than some times i switch to a .22 season goes from the 4th sat in august every year till last day of feb. you can take 10 squirrels a day. but i have never go that i think most i have ever got in one day was like 7 and dad got some as well. also if you go and only get one, go home and clean it good (skin it and cut it) and put in freezer till you get a few more. kinda alot of work to cook just one. they don’t have all that much meat on them. but they are really good. usually we will cook 2 or 3 at a time.

also maybe i could come up and hunt some one day.

apparently I said squirrel hunting lol

anyways, i'm just looking for someone to go with and learn the ropes, Never have had the opportunity to hunt much, my uncle is a deer hunter, so I went with him last year, and my grandfather ducks (past few years). but no one for squirrel...and I've got the land to do it

and I believe I will try this year, I've got a 10/22 with a good scope and I know from experience that if I sit in one place on my property for a while I will see at least 2 or 3 squirrels. i'll just aim for the heads and try not to destroy any meat
