    So, has anyone heard of custom tuning shops being able to tune out trucks? My buddy works at a diesel performance place that does crazy business, sell most of their stuff to riff raff. Apparently the owner, Jonathan, started tuning with the 22re motors. And he also apparently tuned his mom's 2010 highlander, said they got a little better mileage and power out of it. I'm gonna talk to him this week sometime about what's possible.

    My roomate had his 2010 expedition tuned, quite the improvement. I'm looking into doing this as well, since I have an intake and somewhat of an exhaust, I think it would help a decent amount. The biggest advantage is being able to tune your air/fuel ratio and shift points. Cost him about $800 to have someone custom map his ECU, but it was worth it.

    As a side note, 3 days until I'm back in the great state of Tennessee!

    What about the banks tuner for our trucks? It seems that would be better to use since if you took your truck in for anything and they flashed your computer you would lose $800 bucks. They did a show on it on tv and it seemed impressive.

    Guys i quick prayer request for anyone who cares.

    I didnt have a dad growing up and my gpa lived across the street from me and basically filled that void. He is a pretty important person to me for that reason. Well he is having open heart surgery in the morning to put a stent in. He has congestive heart failure and the doctor told him he has about 3 years to live if he doesnt have this relplaced now. Hes 93 and in very good health otherwise. He still walks outside everyday, takes care of himself, drives himself anywhere, etc ...... BUT ...... 99% of people this old dont have surgery because theres a pretty high chance of them not making it out of the OR. Anyway, the surgery is tom morning and i figured id ask for a few prays for things to turn out the way they should, whether good or bad. Thanks yall.
