Mpg I don't know about but did you really just say his truck is topped out at 70mph???? Wtf!!!!! What does he do??? Drive around in 4lo???? What tha fuck are you talkin about!!?

 

I don't have any experience with that one but I have a stand up one also. It just uses shoes instead of those rollers. We made my buddies whole roll cage with it and it worked great. I'll warn you though ........ Depending on the thickness of the pipe, it may be really hard to bend. We ran 1 1/2" x .120 wall and we had to bolt the bender to his trailer and use a breaker bar on it

 

Hmmmm may have to watch this closely. So a pipe bender and someone who know how to use it. Ohhh Kurt hey Kurt (bumper)

 

If I can only top out at 70, there's no way I'm gonna regear....I hardly ever get above 70 but when I need to pass someone and need to hit it, it don't take long for me to be at 85 on 3.73 gears.

 

no offense taken. and i have most of my stuff listed in that little thing under your username and stuff. Yes im regeared to 4.88s. Yes i have 35s. Yes i have full armor. Yes i have wider fenders. None of this equals better highway mpgs nor does it make my truck very aerodynamic and i can run 85 on the interstate all day. I did it the whole way to and coming back from Black Mountain. Oh and youll find this rich ............. i got a 4 banger!! Can you believe that!!!??? Thank god i bought that little beast cause otherwise id be in the right lane with the rest of you 70 mph v6 drivin grannys!!

trust me, i never forget

and that just seems strange to me. maybe something im missing but he should easily be able to push his truck harder then me top speed wise. A six speed is better geared for highway driving then the 5 speed and he has a lot more power. Sounds like a cake walk. Went i went from stock tires to 33 km2s it was a huge difference on the highway but when i went up to 35s, same tires, it really didnt change much on the highway. It takes a lil longer to get there and i need a lil more gas to keep it there but by no means am i ever flooring my truck. I actually drive slow everywhere i go just because i have to give it 3/4 throttle to go anywhere fast but its pretty easy to sustain a speed once im there. And i get 20mpg.

 

So who is saying what? Did he say all that?

I agree on both. And the Rockers lay in the shed 90% of the time. I have some 285's for when my truck sits Mon - Fri

 

oh ok yeah that makes much more sense. I gotta pick me up another set of rims so i can run my 33s on the street. Been toying with getting trail ready beadlocks but i would still be driving to wherever i go wheel at and im not sure about maintenance on them. And id also probably just wanna ride them all the time then. lol

 

Have you ever broke a bead on the trail. If so bring starter fluid and a bic. $10 vs hundreds. And you can use 3M super fckin strong adhesive and glue the tire to the rim.

And Ive seen people do that before but never done it myself. I also need to try this glue idea
