    Ordered some Cragar Soft 8 Silvers from Summit last night. Ordered late evening yesterday, arrived at my work by 11:30 this morning. Holy fuck was that fast.

    As told, they'll fit with some very minor caliper bracket modification.

    Their to "silver" for me. They match the truck. Think I'm going to plasti-dip them with the Gun-Metal I have and and partial to. Need me some black lug nuts now to.

    Returned the one from Jegs that didn't fit this evening.

    Yeah new Daystar 1-1/4" shackles and 11" 5125s. I should know by now with my reg cab that if it says I'll only get 3/4" lift to know I'll get 1-1/2". They scale everything for the extra cabs.

    Oh well damn that sucks. And yeah that would be right. Shackle divided by 2 is about the lift to expect. Looks like a good setup though. You tested it out? I been trying to come up with something to do for my leafs. I wanna do a shackle flip and longer shackles but my ass end is already at 4"+ of lift and I really wanna go lower, not higher. Been thinkin about pulling a few leafs, probably 2, and starting from there. I'll lose a lil bit of towing capacity but my 4 banger don't tow much anyway.

    I just had a random thought too .......... Seems like you could easily run two different suspension setups, one for speed/street driving and one for crawling. For example, if I did a shackle flip, longer shackles and stayed sua, obviously I'm looking at a crawler setup but my shocks arent mounted in the best spot for that. I could weld a cross bar over the axle and upper and lower mounts to form a upside down V pattern and run 10" 5100s, or something simliar, and have the option to either run the 5100s on strictly crawler trails and flex tha fuck out or run my fox shocks in their location for better road driving and any kind of high speed stuff. Hmmmmmmmmm ..........

    I have the kit to relocate my shocks, I just don't have the time. When we boxed the frame, we cut notches for the upper stock shock mount. Eventually I will put the ome shocks back on when I add the new mounts. The Dakar leaf pack gave me 3-4 inches in the back and now with the shackles, it is high. Probably going to remove the overload leaf again to help it. Haven't had it offroad yet, but it is definitely more flexible. I can feel the difference driving down the road.

    Oh ok. Yeah u should have a decent setup then. And does your ass end sway a lil more? Haha that's the only problem with doin a super flex setup on a street truck. It's like the difference of when I took my front sway bar off. I swear I could roll my truck over at 20mph on a flat street with relative ease
