Adam, you said you bought a whole elocker rear end. For how much?

Sorta busy evening, more than sitting around the house. Went out to dinner at Outback, a little reminder of why we don't try and go out to eat often with a 6 and 2 year old.

Thought I had a really good line-up for 2 33x12.5 dura-tracs. Was supposed to meet up with the guy last night, he bailed telling me he couldn't get into his storage unit. This guy is selling 2 33's with 10+mm of tread left for less than $200, not a GY fan but that's just a damn steal at that price.

Quaker I picked up the whole rear end for 275.00 + tax it was like 302 and some change I believe. I will have to check my credit card to know the exact amount. I am driving down to Nashville Sunday afternoon to pick it up from my cousin Jason. But not before hitting up the Chattanooga aquarium. I plan on going ahead and re gearing it while it is out and and basically building the whole live rear so I will have a spare in the even I break something. Or may sell the 8.4 not sure yet. Figured with Gideon and Levi's advice would be easier to spend s few days putting it all together and running my wiring. And then just spend an afternoon putting it in. My only main concern at this point is the whole live rear fitting stock for stock in the rear. Like lining up the leaf seats and what not. I ordered a complete brake kit tonight for 175 off ebay with drums and all since the near rear has none of it.

Edit: just checked the cc statement pending charge of 301.82 to copart of Nashville tn. So just under 302

And hell yeah if you can snag those duratracs that will look mean as hell on that 5 lug. Discount tire here In knox may give you a hell of a deal on a set of 33's that I took back since we thought they were causing my vibration issue. And tonight finally got the vibrations out. Or at least I hope they are gone for good.

They have some cars that people bid on then get to the auction and decide against it so they strip them out. And my company has accounts with all over the us because when we repossess a car and it is damaged beyond a minor scratch or dent it goes to Co part and is sold. So we get occasionally good deals. The cool thing about copart is they are open to the public. Have you ever heard of LKQ? The ones they can't or don't sell because too much damage LKQ will buy. The tacoma I got the locker off of was going to be sent to them and I guess just luck of the call at the time they were able to go pull the rear end out before it went to LKQ.

Wow! Adam that is an amazing deal! I may need to look in to that soon. Need a spare drive shaft for my truck, well just the section from the slip yoke to the third.

Very familiar with LKQ. I even kind of got a "girl" there that I call when I need/want parts. She got me my FJ seats. I called her about a elocker rear end....$1200.00. $275.00 is like getting that shit for fucking free dude, that is a deal of a lifetime.

There is a CoPart in Columbus, can I just like call them and see if they got some spare Toyota parts?? I do work in an auto shop, so I can use that as cover. Cause I really kind of miss having a tailgate but am not willing to spend more than like $125 for one.

I don't see why you couldn't. Call and see what they say and if they have one ask them what merchant price is. If they act like they don't know what you're talking about pm me their number and I will call them with my offices account and see if I can get it any cheaper.

Yours is MGM right or is it that other silver?

I put these in the buy/sell/trade area, but since I don't want to ship anywhere I thought I would post them here too. I have 4 duratracs 265/70R17 C on the ground- 2 at 12/32 and 2 at 11/32 and a new spare at 13/32. i'm asking $700 and will meet halfway to most major cities around Nashville. These also have the Discount Replacement Certificates on at least 4 of the 5. Thanks

Hit 50F up here today and 60F tomorrow. What the hell. It was -62F last week. My body finally gave in to the weather and I'm sick as a dog.

Spent some intimate time with my truck. Put on my goretex rain gear and got under it with a pressure washer. Gave it a good bath. Still have some pinstripes. Im going to have to spend more time and see if I can get them to disappear.

Just took a random trip there last night. Then went over to Krispy kreme to compare the two.. It wasn't a fair fight though because the Krispy Kreme donuts were warm.

Maple bacon donuts at gibson's though. My life was completed
