    speaking of parts falling off...
Here is my newest mod. The "keep the damned thing from flying out on the highway again" mod.

After hitting a rough expansion joint on a bridge, I heard something banging around in the back. Bin had come out completely and was sliding around the bed. Surprised it didn't blow out of the bed completely at 70mph.

Dude, where the hell you been? Felling better hopefully. Yeah, I broke the tabs on my driver's side cubby when I did my rear diff breather mod. I used butyl tape, (the stuff bmw uses between vapor barriers and doors) to secure it. Holding strong for over a year.

    Yeah.

We bought a condo 5/6 years ago and are now kind of fucked. Got that "underwater" tag on us. A lot of the other condo's were foreclosed on, then got resold for super cheap, like $44-45K cheap. So when we went to list our shit for $75K, buyers come around, see that the last 3 condos have sold for less than $50K in the area then see ours listed at $75K....They don't see the "these were foreclosed homes, ours ain't" reality of the situation, so our reality is, we is fucked.

After feeling incredibly hopeless, we found a solution. And with perfect timing I think.

Rachael has a very old friend who lives in Springfield (voted the least unhappy place in Ohio...and for a damn good reason). They have 3 kids, 1 who is turning 13 and is a girl and I don't think they wanter her want ending up with Springfield trash or turning into such. Her husband also works in Columbus...basically...so he drives 1 hour+ each way to work everyday.

So...We're going to rent our condo to them. And find ourselves a house. It's a little complicated b/c we'll have 2 mortgages and my dad is loaning us 10K (10K is like $10 to my dad) to put in the bank so we can "prove" we have enough funds to be able to take on 2 mortgages.

We just need to finish the basement to they can have another "room", going to be used a bedroom for all intents and purposes.

This 1st go was a bit of learning experience. Gonna look in a different area.

Man good deal Chris. And my search for broken shit still continues. Toyota was nice enough to give me money back today for not fixing anything. And will most likely be cutting me a check for a new wheel and tire Monday since some how one of there techs gouged the wheel on pass front and not only gouged the wheel took a hell of a chunk of sidewall with him.

Tomorrow is new rotors since one of mine has a cut in it from i'm guessing slinging that weight in February and it catching in the caliper. So new brakes and rotors on front.

Man, thought and thought of what it could be. Only thing I'm down to is seeing it personally or sending you to someone I trust who I know would give you the attention you need on this issue, but I don't. I saw your tie rod video, NOTHING to worry about and those things flop all around like that. It's a ball socket type setup, a ball in a smaller diameter hole, it's going to move around every which way. When you check that part, you want to hold it parallel with the ground and see if there is back and forth (in and out) play/slop. If unsure I'm sure youtube has a video of "bad inner tie rods"

I really just don't want to see you give up the Taco for this issue, Something with the lift/wheels/tires started this as it was perfectly fine before the lift/rims/tires. There is a solution. I'm about to tell you to just take the truck to that BamaToy (Bill) fella who chimed in your Wheel & Tire thread, seems like a really good guy. Would it be feasible to get it to Levi's buddy who works for Toyota? Both are a travel, but all I can think of.

I also hate to see it happen to ya' because you're having such an unusual problem. Said your kind of new to trucks and being lifted. Trucks and lifts are awesome, but I can completely understand how some shit like this would scare ya' off from trucks.

Toyota knoxville. The rotors need changing anyways so I am going to replace those and new pads today. While I'm in there i'm going to take the spindles off and re install them and see if there is any change. Only thing really left to change is the spindles themselves or or the steering rack. The weird thing is I noticed yesterday if I get up to speed quick and drive through the 50-65 range no shaking no vibes. But as soon as I back it off and drop down (without touching the brakes ) I can get it to shake almost everytime. Like leaving my sub division you turn left or right and straight road without any bumps or pot holes and it's fine if I power through it. I'm beginning to wonder on transmission also if I have slop in the torque converter.

sounds a lot like the drive line vib people get. from what i have read the speed is never the same. probably not anything to do with steering, but could be.

I guess at this point nothing I can do but drive it until something breaks. I know it's not the best measurement but without a set of hands that's familiar with this truck to put on it. Nothing else I know to do.

Would either one of you two want to donate them to me..?!?!?! I have nothing behind my seats other than the metal of the cab shell.

Something shipping wise would have to be worked out
