I wish I had the stuff for BHLM and retro fit. I would have done both at same time. But a head light went out last night so had to get done today, don't have time to wait around for the stuff.

Rode in a coworker's supercrew Tundra. Really nice truck. Tempted me to consider trading the Tacoma. Then I looked up prices. No longer interested in a Tundra.

the 5.7 is a fucking BEAST! brother has a double cap(not the crew max) trd. he got it used though. they ride and drive very nice! I have drove it a few times, including for about 8 hours straight. averaged like 14mpg with 3 people a queen bed luggage for 3 people all while doing 75mph. the one time i drove it around town i averaged 18mpg and i was not really babying it at all, i was having a little run stomping on it. If i did not stop on it and take off to hard from a stop i could probably get closer to 19 or 20mph. If i need more room inside(like a family) or i needed a bigger bed i’d trade for one.gets about the same MPG as the taco with a much bigger engine and all-around truck.

I looked at one the day I bought my truck. As soon as I saw the price, I said "nope" and walked away. Plus they seem too wide for me.

it took me about 2h or so of driving to get use to how much wider it is than the taco.

but they are pricy!! but you get pretty much get the bigest most powerful engine in a full size right now. the smaller double cab has a little more rear leg room than the DC taco wider so you not sitting so close to the person next to you. 6.5’ bed a much much deeper and wider bed. I could take my bed off with the bed sides and fit it in the bed of the tundra. you can get the rails like the taco has. all while getting about the same MPG maybe better depending on you're driving style.

Did you check to make sure the plug is seated all the way. I had the same issue on mine when I did my LED swap and had to pull the light and socket out plug it in then put it back in the housing.

It only fogged up that one day... Haven't had a luck of trouble since then... *shrugs*

$64k for a rock warrior??? My brother in law bought a 2012 rock warrior from Bristol Toyota for $37k OTD. He bought it in like November 2012, one of the last ones in the southeast... 5.7, crewmax, 4x4...

It was a demo that they wrapped and took to Bristol motor speedway to showcase, but to my knowledge it only had a couple hundred miles on it...

    Hi. I changed my username.

New Tundras are tanks. I drove one once. Just remember thinking that it was just way, way to much truck. Nice as hell, but the Taco is much a better sized truck.

according to their website, Performance Toyota here in Memphis has the following:

$31k+ for Tacoma 4x4 double cab.
$29k+ for Tundra double cab with the 4.6 engine.
$39k+ for Tundra crewmax 4x4 with the 5.7 engine.

I might have to check out the double cab 4.6 next time I go to buy oil filters.

So I posted in live to a responce a kid said about movies and then it reminded me.

Who in here has watched Top Gun at least once?

I had a young girl come into my office the other day wearing a ring from a previous relationship and I jokingly said to her. "sometimes you just gotta be like maverick and let goose go."

Blank stare followed by who is Maverick and goose. Is that a game?
    Instantly felt so damn old.

Hell Chris, Kurt, and myself are probably the only ones to remember it on VHS. Or seeing it in the theater for that matter. and maybe Taylor but that is pushing it.

Dude, that's so fucked up. I'm only 30.

(Yup, Totally remember watching it on VHS. Intro is the best part of the whole movie. Fighter jets, awesome song.)

"Maverick? Did your parents hate you?" (or something along those lines, its been a long time.)

Feeling normal again. Had Rach run out and get me some Pepto last night.
