I wish I was not on call or I would have been down there in a hurry.

 

Gideon has videos of it, not many pictures were taken.. :/ only thing that really got "messed" up was my tail light tab finally broke so its duct taped to the truck right now haha

 

Yeah we didn't waste much time takin pics. Just a lot of trail ridin. 90% of them were very tight and 4wd locker required. I didn't realize how much rock there is through out a lot of that park. Levi lost a tire again and knocked his tail light off. I burnt my clutch up some and fucked up every fresh paint job I did. Lol there were 1000s of people there. Dude at the gate said that's normal for holiday weekends. The weather was perfect too. It rained Sat night into Sun morning but thank God it did cause it was super dusty Sat during the day.

 

It was a fun ride! I have a lot of repainting to do after the rock garden and trees

 

Is it bad that I'm thinking about trading/selling the jeep for a RZR 900?

 

Not at all. They are worth more and are badass. If there were 500 vehicles at LBL this weekend, 400 of them were razors. I'd buy one if I had 20k to spend on a "4wheeler"

That's going to be my next big buy. Was looking at the artic cat 550 3 seat that way the wife and my son can come. Might get her into off roading with that.

Where's the videos

 

Any advice on backcountry camping at LBL? Heading up there in a few weeks for some camping/fishing and would like to avoid the campgrounds. Looking for a nice secluded site next to the water. Im in a prerunner so the trail can't be too serious.

Saying the trails can't be too serious is already accepting failure. Get it out there and give it hell. I'm a pre runner and another guy here is 2wd 5 lug and we both did just fine. Minus one catastrophic failure that would have been prevented with a locker

Well I ain't gettin a brand new one. Hopefully 2010-2012 900. They're bad ass but I'm afraid I might miss the jeep.

Go to the planetarium and get a map from them for 3$ and ask them for some of the more secluded camp sites

 

I would never sell/trade an off-road truck for a 4wheeler unless it was just some stupid crazy deal that I could make money off of.
