yeah your good no worries. I think they were referring too the person who already placed an order and wasn't even on the list to top it off. Oh and they probably wanted you to add yourself to the list. Everyone got tired of copy pasting and I gave up already lol

So what exactly are the differences between this and the scanguage? Just a bigger screen? lol

Also, what is the mount that comes with it now? Not the new one coming out

Another difference is that the ScanGauge has "x-gauge" technology which allows the user to write their own codes and custom design gauges. This is only useful for vehicles like the Toyota Prius which uses a different computer protocol than most other vehicles. The Ultra-Gauge will not understand and be fully compatible with vehicle like the Prius, and will have very limited functionality.

For our specific vehicle however, the Ultra-Gauge does everything that the ScanGauge does except one thing. That is Automatic Transmission (AT) Temp. This is a factory feature that the Ultra-gauge cannot access. The "x-gauge" feature on the Scangauge can be used to write your own code in order to read AT temps in our truck. Really useful for people who tow alot, but in all reality, our trucks cant tow enough weight to really have a need to monitor AT temps. Although a nice feature, its not necessary.

Other than that one specific gauge, the 2 units are almost identical, except that the UG is about 1/3 the price and has a better display.

Also a few other minor features such as the UG display color cannot be changed whereas on the SG you can choose background color to match your vehicle interior. Also, the OBD cord on the SG is removable from the unit, so it is easier to remove the SG and leave the cable installed. The UG cable is built in. Thats about it.

When comparing, I agree the SG has a few convenience features over the UG, but certainly not worth the cost difference in my book.
