OFFICIAL *unofficial* SoCal Tacoma May dez trip.

bedcage wont be finished up till maybe sometime thru next week earliest.
But the shocks took up more than half my paycheck and I need at least another $100 throughout the week because I'm attenting the fab school and riverside and back from torrance in painful on gas.

 

Man I wish my tank was larger. I gotta carry gas with me. I got a micro 12 gal tank and usually use about 17 for a whole day. 80 dollars well spent.

You started too late on that bedcage!!! nah it took me a month to fab up my rear end last year. Lucky I'm not in school anymore I dont miss it. lol i think this is going to be the last cool day of the season out there.

Great trip Yesterday!! It was good to meet you Mike, Bobby and Eddie's Friend and always a pleasure to see you "Eddie's truck" and Eddie & Brent. I killed my tires on the drive home. So tires are in my near future. Hopefully an alignment is all I need to correct the nasty negative camber. I don't even wanna look at my baby right now.

Well got it back from alignment. They did the best they could. Something is bent on the right side. At least the truck is drive-able again. The drive home yesterday sucked bad. On a good note. my steering wheel is straight again. Been crooked for about a year.

 

I don't know how bad your spindle is on the passenger side, but if it's bad or if it bugs you too much, I have a good matching passenger side "Camburg" spindle. I bent my driver's side spindle last year when I drove my truck through a nasty rut and have been thinking of fixing it but have yet to get around to it.

I don't know what Camburg would charge for a new spindle or to straighten your existing one, but I'd take cash for my good passenger side one. I'm in need of spindle gussets and cam tab gussets which will run me about $200 from total chaos. I'd sell you my spindle for exactly that. If you're interested in let me know. I can take pics of the spindle so you can see exactly what I have. Let me know.
