    I noticed with kdmax 6.0 it still favors 5th gear at 60 mph . For sure with VR it tried all the time from what I remember to keep 6th gear and your theory of your tune is very interesting power everything then dial it back I like the concept . I know guys have been asking other tuners ,but I'll ask you with vf tuner update and upcoming updates you plan on evolving VR or more refined

    I think the less accelerator at low speed is an awesome update to this tune.
    You really have a good thing going here with this one.

    This is what I like to hear. About to be driving around a newborn so I need something a little more mellow from the start!

    He does a good job with the shifting and the way the gears and TC work together. I think he's on a good path.

    I'm looking to have 2.0.3 out later in the week for those interested in a slightly milder pedal. The hardest part is keeping the pedal soft enough to not throw you in the back seat, but sensitive enough that cruise control doesn't stay in 4th gear on the interstate.

    *** Update ***

    Version 2.0.3 has been completed and is available for all 3rd Gen Automatic trucks.

    This update is for the addition of a lighter throttle option than standard. Those who have the files labeled "Standard" and "Heavy" and wish to receive a lighter throttle version, please message me directly. I will send you a copy of the "Light" version, no other changes have been made to the tune.

    To clarify here is how the revision has been processed:

    2.0.2 Heavy -> 2.0.3 Heavy (No Changes)
    2.0.2 Standard -> 2.0.3 Moderate (No Change besides naming scheme)
    2.0.2.6 Test -> 2.0.3 Light (Moved from Beta testing to full function)

    Notes about the Light version:
    Pedal sensitivity is down slightly from Moderate, it makes the low end easier to control over bumps and pot holes. A slight degradation of fuel economy has resulted in this version since airloads needed adjusting. However, in testing the MPG loss was only .2 - .4 across testers and myself. Some of this data could have been the result of natural variance in speeds/environment/etc, but I still want to manage expectations.

    Thank you all for the continued support, I have made a few discoveries regarding what I intend to include with v3.0. Development of this will not begin until May or June.

    @shotgunbilly420

    400+ miles to empty is possible. Noticed this when I got into the neighborhood, add 12miles for the trip I drove from the station.

    Also, I just crossed the 15k miles of tune development stage. Long time driving around and editing

    I don’t think I have ever gotten more than 365 miles on a full tank. I don’t usually run it down until the gas light comes on but I need to give it a try and see if I can push 400+.

    So that photo was following two tanks of 30/70 city highway. I'm looking into finding a place that can perform a dyno but also allow me to run an extended dyno similar to how the EPA runs their testing.

    I know Mustang Dyno is headquartered down the road from me, they produce the only dynos that can provide a full simulation of road force and friction. This should be able to give me the most accurate WHP & WTQ numbers along with an lab controlled MPG.

    @TermLimits Initial Impressions

    I’m a Heavy-on-the-pedal driver, I won’t pussy-foot and claim otherwise. Going into this tune I was expecting to be slightly disappointed on the Tip-In. I was not. Tip-In is mildly aggressive; it could be tuned down a tad for those who drive like its Sunday everyday or trying to juice out every mpg from the tank. That being said, I found it spunky enough to pull out into an intersection without fear of getting clipped. Much like all of these tunes, nice power along the power band. Prior to writing this, I put on about 200 miles. Roughly 144 of it was highway, and 100 of that in the rain, so I drove a bit slower than normal. I WAS however able to get around 60mi of dry pavement to give the pedal a bit of juice. While not as aggressive as some other tunes, this tune is still fairly impressive. It was not made as a straight Pedal Aggressive Tune, but it does a decent job holding its own. I noticed over 200mi an increase from 16.3mpg-16.8mpg, and based on what others have reported back, I would expect to see this continue to rise.

    I will likely finish out the week on the STANDARD, then switch to HEAVY. :bananadance:

    Question for @TermLimits. If we purchase the tune file for 2.0.3 for $30 do we get the light, standard, and heavy files? You have me interested because it seems like your focus on low end, pedal sensitivity at various speeds, and overall mpg are a great combination of what I’m after.

    I’m looking forward to see what the numbers look like! But I’m not complaining about the MPG. I was only getting like 330 a full tank stock.

    Yes so you get all three in the pack and once I finish up the premium gas files you’ll get those as well
