Did you get it shipped to Oahu, Hawaii or did you get it shipped to one of the lower 48 states?

Hey TW members.

This is a follow up post to my earlier post regarding the shipping ordeal for the Hawaii TW members.

First off, I want to thank @taco510 for setting up this GB! I've been dying to get me a set of these seat covers and am FINALLY getting the opportunity to deck out my T4R!

Okay, back to the shipping ordeal...

After emailing the Promotions Dept. for Wet Okole I got in touch with Steve Grew. Steven Grew is the VP for Wet Okole who authorized the GB. He wanted me to let everyone on this GB know that if you have any questions or concerns about this GB or ANYTHING related to his company, get in contact with him. He will be your most informed point of contact. Do not attempt to contact any of the sales reps as they most likely aren't aware of these specials sales, although they should, and will most likely give you the wrong info.

This is going to be a long post again, so I apologize for the drawn out explanation but I want all TW members (Hawaii, Alaska, Canada and lower 48 states) to be as informed as possible even though this particular issue pertains specifically to Hawaii members.

Per Steven Grew, the GB ordering process as you all know has changed. They no longer take phone orders for GB because of the large turn out for these GBs and Steven was getting tired of having to answer his phone a million times a day (not really a million, but you get the jist). He decided to switch the GB ordering process through wetokole.com for simplicity purposes. The issue Hawaii members are having with ordering online is that because this is the first online GB order for Wet Okole, the website has not been updated yet. Hawaii members who live on Oahu can have their online order shipped to the retail location on Oahu for (1) $15 for 1 set (2) $30 for 2 sets. You are unable to do that now because Steven needs to program that into the website, which, according to him, he is in the process of doing at the moment. It most likely won't be ready for this GB, so Steven wanted me to tell all Hawaii TW members to call him directly to place their order. He will process your order and ship it to the Oahu retail location for (1) $15 for 1 set (2) $30 for 2 sets. Don't bother calling the Oahu retail location becuase they don't know what the heck is going on.

As for outer island TW members, you will have to pay $70 to get the seat covers shipped to you. Steven told me that he has no choice but to 2nd day air mail it to the outer islands because there are no Wet Okole retail distribution stores on any of the outer islands. Because Oahu is a distribution store, Steven is regularly freight shipping seat covers to the store thus he is able to keep the shipping cost lower by BULK shipping.

I apologize if my last post seemed like I was attacking Wet Okole or bad mouthing this GB, that is most definitely not the case. I was just very very confused on the whole ordeal and wanted answers. Steven was super helpful and sincerely apologetic for the misunderstanding. He addressed all of my questions and concerns in a professional manner, probably the best customer service i've had over the phone in a long time.

I got a call from Nohemi at WO regarding my order. They don't have the rear seats for the 2016 AC yet and may not for a few months. So they're only sending my fronts (and including the console cover) and I'll have to check back periodically about the rears. Forgot to ask if they're honoring the discount at that point or not. Just a heads up for my fellow 16 AC owners

 

I called her back. They will honor the discount but we have to email Steven Grew before we order to let him know we were part of the group buy and that they had to cancel our rear seats due to not having the pattern

 

No problem @taco510, I mean... You setup the GB and got us this far, at least one of us to do a little bit of leg work and get our own questions answerd lol

I should have read better. I accidentally put the center console in my cart. It's still a great deal regardless so I'm not really worried about it. Thanks for all who were involved setting this up.
