OFFICIAL XB LED HEADLIGHTS THREAD 16+

Have you had an HID retro in the past? I’ve read a lot about the output being way better than stock — which is great. But it sounds like it still falls short of a good retrofit. The output pics on the f/s page make it look bright white with a nice colorband on top but the pics that people are posting don’t look the same (more yellow and zero color band). Im afraid that it will fall short of output expectations based on what I’m seeing... just trying to gauge, which is hard without seeing them in real life!

I'd agree with that! It's better, but not quite there compared to a full on retrofit.

 

I never keep vehicles long enough to do a full retrofit lol. I plan to keep this for some time so if I keep it another year or 2 I will do a full retrofit

 

@TRSAndrew What can I and the other member do about the finger prints or smudges inside the housing. Contact TRS warranty? I have to problem pulling light apart but that would void my warranty

 

Seems to be some type of horse trading going on here and not much clarity being offered by our Group Buy owner.

Somehow The Retrofit Warehouse works into this equation. Glad to know that I am not the only one that got shafted on this and hoping The Retrofit Warehouse is a legit business and not trying to make a few quick bucks.

I agree the entire group buy was a cluster f*** From the huge 10+ month delay to PayPal issues to some cancelations. It's been a complete nightmare for me and has even taken a toll on my wife seeing me stressed everyday trying to resolve so many issues. We didn't have problems with any other products, only the XB headlights. I definitely won't be putting my family through any more stress especially for Christmas because of trying to offer others great deals on the lights.

That's not good! Did you try contacting TRS to see about warranty?

 

Are you going to address the cluster you caused over at tundras.com? That would be nice if you came out of hiding and posted something that's honest for a change instead of endless BS and excuses...

 

Yes I will address and complete all the issues that were here as well as some in a few other forums. I'm not hiding at all, more so focused on getting those issues fixed before addressing any more forums. But by far this was the worst group buy I've ever held. Some evened pm'd me asking if its worth it? Considering the small $$ gain (due to large discount) and amount of problems that I've had, Its definitely NOT worth it. There's some bad business decisions I made on my part with these group buys, but lessons are learned although I won't be offering anymore group buys. I will still offer special deals to those who inquire via pm or email, but right now the focus is trying to fix all issues so going into 2020 the entire company and myself will handle things better.

Not exactly! Well at least from this group buy. There's a lot that bought from other vendors including TRS and posting there thoughts and a few issues with the lights here. So its not all cluster f*** from the group buy.

 

But this time it'll be different right?

 

Well there won't be any more group buys on these lights at least not from me. Like I said my only focus is fixing the few issues left to end this nightmare

So many issues from these headlights. People waiting months to just get their transactions canceled. Generic answers from all vendors but tons of people in the dark.

lol, then the exact same headlights came out for 925 with fog lights...


Dead giveaway.... these lights ain’t exactly as hyped as they were made to seem.

 

But did those other vendors and TRS steal from members or use members here and at tundras.com to float themselves a cushy loan in hopes of paying most of it back when you finally decided to place the order, then when the prices went up, you called off the deal and make a million excuses why refunds are still hanging in the balance 2 weeks from Christmas? I get the brand new lights have had issues but that is not what anyone is talking about here.

 

Most already resloved there issues and there's a few issues with a little that should be fixed this week. There's no loans or stealing from anyone and i'm not about to start up this drama again.We sell lots of different products on a daily base. But we use different payment gateways and there is 2 that has given me problems, Paypal and Stripe. Whats most important is that all issues ae being fixed and putting the focus only on that including those that need some warranty claims on products.

 

No offense @pudge151 , but it seems that you are always on the forums and has had a personal issue with me since I began doing retrofits in 2016. You never ackowlege any of the happy customers that posted in the forums, only the negative and try to find ways to get others against me and now your trying to do the same on here. Theres a ton of members on hear that can tell you as well that I always fixed any issues customers had. But just like the other forums, you won't acknowledge the positive. I understand there was some issues with those retrofits (which Im still actually fixing as some issues continue), also when I made the conversion harnesses for OEM led headlights (which I am always still warranting through another great vendor thats helping me fullfill those warrnties and now its with these headlights (which im still currently fixing). Yes I know I could have hanlded things better but trolling and trying to get the world against me sounds like a personal issue and I'm not going to argue with you on the internet when I have a pregnant wife that needs attention and care.

All I can say is that for years, your negativity and constantly trying to report me to Mods and getting me banned and others not to buy from me is tiring, you need to find something better to do that continue with this drama. If everything you have been saying about me for years were true, the Mods from all forums I am on would have banned my account years ago.

Like I said all issues are being fixed. Nothing else will be said on the matter
