@TRSAndrew I know this isn't the best thread for this but I can't dm you and know you check this one. I have a ballast that is currently not working from a kit that I ordered January 2018 and was curious as to how to make a warranty claim for it. My drivers side headlight is out and I got pulled over last night and given a ticket for non working headlight. What should I do about getting the ballast replaced ASAP so I don't get any more tickets.

Keep in mind fix it tickets get dropped with proof of repair (ie a replacement ballast)

What do you mean exactly with the fix it ticket being dropped with proof of repair? Sorry but just want to make sure I understand completely.

 

Should be able to take ticket to city offices or police station and show them u fixed the light, they void the ticket

Hey everyone, I'm installing my lights and I cannot get the high beams to come on. Anything I can I try or anything I'm doing wrong here?

 

Do you have your "auto high beams" function on?

 

No I dont. I installed the driver side and high beams work, just not on the passenger side. Could it be a fuse, or is it the assembly itself? I'm just not sure, not very well versed in lighting stuff.

 

I ordered from Retrofit Wholesale (order 7816) back on November 2. Lights never shipped. No email or communication. Checked on the website regarding my order a couple weeks back and says "fully refunded" but my credit card says otherwise.

Why was the order cancelled? Why do they claim it has been refunded on the website but I haven't seen it refunded.

Very frustrated over the whole experience.

 

Was it easy for you guys to get your headlights dialed in per the instructions? I'm having a hell of a time. Not sure if it's the lights or if I'm fucking something up somehow.

According to the diagram the cutoffs should be the same distance apart at 25' as they are on the truck. Which should be like 60". I can't get them closer than 90".

 

New development. On top of everything else a gap developed on my driver side DRL that also affects my turn signals.

If I didn't get such a steal on these for Black Friday I'd be super pissed. Still extremely frustrated so far.

 

I've already been talking to TRS about warrantying the passenger side for not being able to adjust properly. So this would mean I'd need to replace both.

 

Man.. i hope mine are issue free when they arrive.. have they been good to deal with throughout the issues?

Im in Canada so shipping back and forth gets expensive af.

 

I've been emailing them back and forth for a couple weeks sind I'd I initially tried getting the lights aligned and had trouble.

Guy on the phone said they'd warranty it and I'd have to pay a refundable $400 deposit while they sent the new light and waited for the old one back. Then they started an email chain with me thats had intermittent back and forth communication every other day or so.

It is the holidays so I understand if there's delays but I hope this is resolved soon.

 

Hey members. I need advise from you guys. I installed the headlights today and I broke the fender flare tabs on the driver side. Now it does not sit really flush with the truck. How would I go about getting to sit flush with the truck?
