I’m thinking of ordering some squadron amber fogs in the meantime to help with the wait. But I’ve been told they are working on some street legal ones so may wait on that too.

Not yet! I noticed TRS just got the Ford XB headlights which was supposed to be received in March so lets hope soon for the Tacos

 

I know how you all feel. Its a guessing and waiting game. New Hot products like these are always getting pushed back but remember its not by TRS, Morimoto pushes the dates back depending on how production is going.

 

I've waited this long. Probably not as long as some of the folks here. But I'd rather see a good quality product than seeing a crappy product being rushed out of the factory. The only way I'll opt out is if they delay it to fall 2019 or the end of the year. If that's the case, I'd rather put that $1,000 on other part of my truck.

 

I agree but I doubt if it would be pushed back to the end of the year. There might be limited amounts so the ones who ordered first will received their products before others. The late orders might have to wait for the second shipment which might be in the fall time. Lets hope Morimoto speed up production. Now all we can do is wait and hope

I don't think they're waiting on anything.

They have limited production line capabilities and these are just in the queue with everything else.

 

The manuf. that is producing these for Morimoto makes a ton of other lights. Head/tail/fog/etc. I think they are just backed up with production from other stuff.

 

This! They are backed up as they are also making other products. The lights are in production, they are just delayed. Theres about 10 other Xb headlights that are supposed to be released this year plus tail lights. All we can do is wait for the update from Morimoto and TRS.

 

So are they going to come with install instructions? I’ve never swapped out headlights before but I’m assuming it’s something we can do ourselves?

They are plug N play so it's basically a direct swap. They have adapters depending on if you have stock led drls or no. But it's straight forward.
