This is like dropping a $1000 on Kickstarter and wait for your product to become a reality and be one of the first people to have it. lol! I know a thing or two about product launch delay. Marketing people not communicating with the manufacturer and miscommunication with the distributor. i.e. overpromise timeframe and can't deliver. Especially worse when they see a promising prototype from the Engineering department and marketing already make deal with the distributor, neglecting kinks, production timeframe, etc.

 

This is basically with any new product. They're are always delays and miscommunication. But it's far from a Kickstarter.

1. The lights are in production and none of the group buy money is going towards production.
2. This is a group buy for major discount on the headlights.
3. People can always choose not to participate. The ones who participate know that there's a wait but also prefer to save $250. Afterall participating or not you still have to wait if you want the headlights

I think i'm going to order these as well. Probably easier that finding someone reliable to to create better ones for me and I really like the looks of these, just hope the light output is as good as I hope them to be.

Thats correct! I believed I mentioned this before. The first batch will be the orders placed at the beginning of the Group Buy. So March/April orders will ship out first. Depending on how many units TRS recieves on the first shipment, its possible that some May orders will ship but anyone who placed orders late should NOT expect to be on the first shipment. There is a list of everyone who ordered but not usernames on TW. If anyone wants to confirm where they are at on the list you can PM me with your order number (4 digits) from the confirmation email. If you didnt receive a confirmation email when you ordered check your spam folder.

 

The invoice ID?

 

It will say "Order # xxxx". Not the Paypal invoice number. The order number will be on the Retrofit Wholesale confirmation email. Customers have reported that sometimes it doesn't go to the inbox and ends up in the junk folder.

 

One month went by pretty quickly actually. We're already coming up on June 1st. this Saturday. Hopefully, Morimoto will start shipping them to TRS.

 

If I get in now when is the second wave expected to be shipping?
