    Lesson learned. Don’t buy from retrofit source since their business ethics confirm they don’t care about their customers. But @TRSAndrew should team up with MESO and launch a better product.

    Ps the email I just received got me all anxious thinking my lights were sent. I was very wrong so I came here to check and now this. Sorry Andrew for the Mishaps and issues, your the man for answering all the good and bad hate mail.

    And there you have it, right from a member of one of the 3rd gen FB groups. He ordered right from TRS, with a promo code, received free shipping. He said in a separate post he’s expecting delivery tomorrow. Pretty shady business practices for TRS to screw over a wholesale vendor and customers, but not their own retail customers.

    Not sure what that specific person’s discount was. But this gentleman had 10% off and got free shipping as well. And regardless whether or not it was an accident for that code being active for 20% off on Memorial Day weekend, the fact is it was active. If that’s going to be their reasoning, that it was “accidentally active,” that’s the most unprofessional thing I’ve ever heard. I really wish someone from TRS would actually chime in on this thread. Based on these two screenshots, safe to assume TRS would have honored that. Idk if it’s because so many people ordered through this group buy and they don’t want to cover those shipping costs because it’s way more than they expected or what. I don’t blame you at all, but if I were in you’re position I’d be angry with TRS for this whole debacle. And if they come back saying “oh well it’s still cheaper because it’s 20% off, etc.” That’d just be a lame response. It’s way beyond the dollar figure, it’s just the principle at this point.

    So I talked to a lawyer friend of mine tonight and showed him my receipt from the group buy...he said we have a legally binding agreement (receipt) from trs...purchased and paid for...that was the agreement that we have a copy of and they are obligated to honor that by United States law...what do you guys think? I’m no lawyer but he is.

    I completely understand your frustration but I think thats a little too far. I understand that TRS have make a lot of errors since the pre-orders opened, but coughing up Hundreds of fees from lawyers just for shipping doesn't seem logical.
    I appreciate your support with this group buy but take a breather...relax brother :proposetoast:. Like someone stated, this is the reason pre-orders are bad because things constantly change. If would be a different story if TRS had complete stock of the lights and decided to change everything at the last moment. I think TRS having the lights in stock is more important as this point.
