Previous install pics( @B1sko3 ) with the XBs are what the gap concerns/questions are about. Night and day difference from what your claiming to be a "gap". If the XBs fit the same as your OEM's I'm sure you'll get zero complaints.

They're produced from 3D scans of the stock lights, so yes they should fit just like OEM.

@TRSAndrew Is there any word on the next shipment. On the way to the states? Date? Quantity? Groupbuy covered?

So basically enough time for this refund/reorder process to take place?

Under the dispute status on paypal it say's paypal will have more info for me by July 12th. So I'm assuming that's when I'll get the "no response from seller, your refund has been credited to your account" type notification.

Sincerely hope I’m wrong, but after 20 years of dealing with PayPal, nothing is ever that simple. We’re talking about a lot of money...

According to their buyer protection program they have to refund customers without tracking info and no response from seller. Those two things makes it simple. It only complicates my situation with PayPal but as I stated before I don't care. PayPal was in the wrong to freeze the account for no apparent reason.

PayPal totally sucks if you ever run into any issues or have to cash in on their "fraud protection." I have been burned by them in the past as well so I feel your pain @eledobleu . Unfortunately, everyone uses PayPal these days and it is hard to get around it if you buy a lot of stuff online.

About the gap, I checked today and I have a slight gap on the passenger side as well. Its about 5mm out from the fender, whereas the drivers side practically has no gap.

That wasn’t a shot at you, I’ve just had mixed results dealing with them. Ain’t nothing simple.

Once the case is opened, there is no human action on PayPals end unless the seller responds. If not, it automatically closes in the buyers favor after 10 days. So actual human claim representatives don't get involved unless there's responses from both parties, even still it always end in buyers favor.

I'm aware, probably in the neighborhood of around $70-80k at the moment.

So is that what happened and the need for all of this, your account getting frozen? (forgive me for not going through previous pages and getting up to speed)

Not only was it frozen but it was closed permanently with all of the group buy funds. After 8 years with PayPal their reason was they suspected fraud . A bunch of bs

All I see is PayPal ‘s estimated resolution date of August 5th for the shipping refund.

I can’t even see the $1000 for the headlights on my account because I filed the dispute with a phone call.

    Pardon my skepticism...

That's some BS... Were you ever able to get a hold of a rep on the phone? I'd be livid if they just froze my account(s) with that many funds in them, especially if it's business related and you have all the documentation on hand, including any tax paperwork.

If it does end up coming up online under your account, you can click the help tab on the upper ribbon and go to the resolution center. From there it will give you more info on any/all disputes you've filed (see screenshot).

Did you have to file the $1000 disputes over the phone or did it show up in your transaction history? Mine didn’t so I had to call.

I looked up the original Paypal transaction receipt in my email (directly from paypal, not the invoice receipt from retrofit wholesale). In that email, and every other paypal email receipt, is the transaction ID number and is shown as a hyperlink in the top right. If you click that link it will open a window to paypal's website showing that specific transaction including details and options. That's where/how I filed my dispute.

That’s the deal - I never got the normal PayPal transaction email. For the first (and only) time, I used a credit card rather than having it debited from my checking account. I have a credit card transaction email from BoA, but nothing from PayPal - and it doesn’t show up in my transaction history at all. I called PayPal and they found the transaction and filed a claim on my behalf. They said it wasn’t uncommon and sent me an email with my claim number, but still nothing shows up on my account.

Yeah that sounds extremely bizarre... I have a few accounts and cards linked to my paypal as well, and also used a credit card through paypal for this transaction. Got my email receipt from paypal as soon as I made the purchase. Best of luck and hopefully gets sorted out for you, along with the rest of us waiting in paypal dispute limbo lol
