    On 6/30. When I checked the case earlier today it mentioned it would close at about 12:18pm today if there was no response from the seller. I had an automatic email from Paypal at 12:20 saying the case was closed in my favor after no response from the seller.

    Here's what I got. PayPal email me. Same message for my shipping.

    "Because we were unable to obtain additional information from Retrofit Wholesale regarding your claim, this case has been resolved in your favor and you have received a refund of $1,000.00 USD. If you paid with a credit card, the money is refunded to your credit card. Please note that it can take up to 30 days for the refund to appear on your card statement."

    So it's likely that you will not see your refund appear on your credit card statement soon.

    I'm wondering if I should wait until I see the money back into my credit card account first before doing a repurchase.

    What did you guys decide on?

    Just a guess but I think its going to be closer to 3-5 days. Regardless, I would wait since the lights aren't shipping now anyway.

    I just got the same message today, I have bumped into this situation before and typically just a couple of business days and the money will appear.

    Even though I haven’t received my refund yet, I added the lights to my cart to check the discount code and shipping charges. My shipping went up $8.00 from the last time I paid for free shipping. (yes I know...it’s only eight dollars) $42-$50.

    @eledobleu , did the shipping discount disappear?

    My PayPal case was closed and I have the $1,000 pending deposit in my checking account.

    Before I place this order again direct per the instructions (which seems like confusion persists per recent posts because shipping is for the second time, not what was promised.) Frankly, I don’t care about the $, I want my cool lights.

    With that, I just considered going directly to TRS and paying more for hopefully a better outcome. For what it is worth, I noticed the price on their site went from $1,250 to $1,280 (with free shipping on orders over $100.) I just got off the phone with TRS customer support and asked for an update on these lights supposedly arriving next week. First, the rep said arrival from the slow boat from China shipment was arriving July 19th. Then, rep said wait a sec, let me double check. After a few minutes, he came back with four weeks from today. That pushes this out to August 8th for arrival at TRS. I’ve a funny feeling that when August 8th comes around, there will be some other delay...

    This is getting comical, but I know exactly what I signed up for. I had the same issues when I got a retrofit on my 2nd gen from Ambiguous. It was a pain in the a$$, but I got some freaking awesome headlights which made all the heartache in the process go away. I’m getting on @no vtec 4me list for 3rd gen retrofits too because I’m going to buy both. I know the two options are not comparable in terms of output, its just those cool sequential turns on the XB’s! :thumbsup:
