Sure, I'm planning to attend Expo East and will post some pics and commentary.

I honed my Hi lift Jack skills and practiced my tire plugging last year with Johnathan Hanson as the main class instructor, backed up by two of the 7P team members. It was pretty low key and really helpful. I ordered a legit plug kit and tire spoons as a result of the hands on use of their personal kit. Extreme Outback Products, Ultimate Puncture Repair Kit, Part # 001-009.

I'm definitely purchasing that exact repair kit. It's a reasonable price too! Which spoons did you end up getting? Or did you get the tyreplier kit from extreme outback as well?

I took a similar course in Northern California through The Driving Company http://www.thedrivingcompany.com/home.html

The course was 1 day at the Hollister Hills SRVA: 1 hour classroom, morning in the "Obstacle Course" as a driver and spotter, afternoon was a trail ride and a recovery demo. They're offering a recovery course, which I'm taking in October.

I'd recommend it. I did the course before I got my truck as a way to "test the waters". I had a blast and decided to take the plunge and get a Tacoma.

Thanks! I added this class to my list as well. I was reading through the faq's and it's comforting that they emphasize mechanical sympathy on the vehicles. I'm sure all classes do, but it's comforting that they address it up front.

I did buy one 23” tire iron(spoons) #110 and one #111, but I have the bead breaker attachment for my hi life jack so no no tireplyers. My tires are E rated 33”’s so I didn’t want to rely on anything less that the hi lift to help remove the tires from the wheels. My son bought the motorcycle spoons and the bead breaker/ tireplyer and he loves them too.

Funny thing is .....my FAVORITE purchase and trick I picked up from the class was to get the No Loss Tire Caps! Part # 006-008. These are simply the greatest thing ever. All tires should come with these. I put them on all my vehicles. Isn’t it always the inexpensive simple things that make life easier that we just wonder how we ever lived without?? Lol.
