I know I couldn't get a dual cab and 6' bed in the OR, access cab and 6' or dual cab with 5' only.

The manual transmission was one my main requirements, along with the 6-foot bed. To get it, I had to get a Sport. That made the choice a no-brainer.

The 6ft bed was the deciding factor on a 2nd-gen Sport in 2013. Always liked the look and features of the OR though, so when it came time to get a new 2021, I went OR and am way happier in all aspects. Never ended up really needing the 6ft bed on the Sport either…doh!

Oh wow, I didn't know they weren't offered in all markets. That sort of sucks. I debated forever on what model to get and if I had honed in on the Offroad DCLB and then found out it wasn't available I would have been gutted.

I thought the person I quoted was saying the DCLB interior on and Offroad was smaller than the DCLB interior on a Sport. It sounded like crazy talk but I understand the point he was trying to make.

I got curious and plug in the info to KBB between the sport and off-road. I did all the same stuff and it showed the sport valued $150ish more than the off-road. Kind of odd.

I vaguely recall people doing that in other OR vs sport Threads. Even though they cost exactly the same new, the Used Pricing varied a few bucks either way depending on location.

From reading threads like this one I see the TRD Sport crowd seems to be a happy, laid back, easy going bunch.

Some of the OR crowd act like their hairdressers pulled their man-bun too tight.

Man-bun is too tight. "I'm so hardcore I live on the side of a cliff and fart nails."

Very happy with my TRD Sport. Most of my driving is highway mixed with the occasional forest road or farmland with small creek crossings. We get a lot of snow where I live. It's easy to get sucked into youtube offroad stuff and wonder if I should have gone with an Offroad, but at the end of the day I don't wanna tear my truck up, plus, I like the look of the sport a lot. I came from an xterra with 4x4 and no locker, and never encountered the need for one, even with some trips out west in forest preserve land. Threw on an OME 2" lift and some larger Falken Wildpeak At3s... lets go!

I have used my locker a few times, though I don't know if it was even needed. The additional HP provided by the skewp will easily have you flying up any obstacle that would've required the locker on the OR.

"I got the offroad because i want to offroad my truck 2 times per year on stock tires and occasionally drive on dirt roads which you'll get stuck in a sport, so OR was a no brainer, brooo...also anyone want to swap hoods?"

I used to have a burgundy 92 Accord with black bumpers - it didn't look terrible, mostly due to the dark paint color, but I always hated that non/matched plastic trim; just looks lazy/cheap. Had some Goodyear Aquatreads on it = stuck to the road like glue - tires make all the difference; stock tires are not meant for driving fun/max safety, just max MPG.

Got rid of the sh*t run/flats on my 128i ASAP & put on Conti DWS the difference was immeasurable - I get mad smiles/gallon in that car especially post new/suspension.

Get whichever one you can get a deal on; get in the color/configuration you want; and/or get the fastest. I have an OR; would have been fine in a Sport (or SR5 if it had the right packages at the time of purchase).

Sport if you want a 6ft bed to sleep in for camping, hunting and fishing.
