The one who dies with the most stuff wins.
I feel this story. We have two boys, ages 2 and 3, and an 80# lab all crammed in the backseat. The 5.5 bed fills up fast with two toddlers worth of stuff. It was either the trailer or a bigger truck like a Tundra, and I'm too far into my truck to start over at this point. The trailer has been a huge game changer for us.

I built them out of square tube and then welded tabs for the struts to lift them. Left approximately 12" inside the tube when extended. Really stable and no rattle.

We have 2 seasons on an InTech Flyer Explore. I would have chosen a square/teardrop, but my wife wanted to be able to stand up. Now I wouldn’t trade it for the world. Just got back from a 2 week 3100 mile roadtrip that covered 8 states. Our ultimate destination was in Grand Junction Colorado where we spent a lot of our time exploring the dirt roads and alpine lakes on the Grand Mesa around Cedaredge. Trailer towed like a dream behind the truck. We’ve made some minor modifications to suit our needs. Looking forward to another adventure sometime soon.
