Why the hell is that frame flexing so much ?
Old one had flex but not as much. So you could wheel with topper or spare tire carrier on the back. If you do that with new truck either you will be buying new topper or truck bed. I thought "seatbelt bracket" Mike said they stiffened that frame with high strength steel (whatever the f that means in his world)
Is new frame made out of the bamboo ?

I haven't seen a frame flex like that since my sister put her '93 F150 in the ditch on an icy day. Then again, that Ford frame never flexed back, the truck was permanently crooked from then on

Look at the body lines of the tailgate versus the front of the bed in the picture posted above. Flex.

Yep. I see it. Still doesn't make me want to buy anything else though; even if the frame is made of spaghetti noodles.

Truck frames are designed to flex in that manor. If they weren't, when carrying a load, the slightest bump would destroy the vehicle.

My question was not "why it flexes?"
MY question was "Why it flexes so much?"
Dont you think its little too much on the truck with empty bed ?
there is clearly 2-3 inches of difference in the corners. Thats empty bed made out of the composite.
I am pretty sure Seatbelt bracket Mike was saying they made that truck stiffer. (have to look for his interview)
Some flex is OK, too much flex will brake things like that tailgate on Ford truck got crushed from flex. And That Ford tailgate is stronger than what we have .
